Abstract: A display control selection section receives a plurality of display control requirements for screen display and selects and outputs to an input timing control section a display control requirement capable of being processed within a single screen non-display interval out of the received display control requirements. The input timing control section outputs the display control requirement selected by the display control selection section to a display processor when the screen non-display interval comes.

Abstract: A media processing apparatus has an application processor having first and second applications and a media processor having an analyzing unit, a media module information holding unit, a music replay module, a voice conversation module, and an on-chip memory. Each of the modules has a plurality of operation modes and the analyzing unit performs switching to an optimum operation mode in response to a processing request from a user. This achieves optimum resource distribution during operation and allows a plurality of media processings to be performed in parallel.
