Abstract: A package hand-over apparatus, a package hand-over method, and a program that can efficiently hand over an item that is preferably handed over to a receiver after a face-to-face confirmation are provided. A package hand-over apparatus includes a video call control unit configured to carry out a video call with a terminal apparatus of a sender by using a video call device, and a lock control unit configured to unlock a lock prohibiting hand-over of a package based on whether or not an input approving the hand-over is made to the terminal apparatus of the sender after a start of the video call.

Abstract: A switch includes an insulating case, a fixed electrode and a movable electrode. The insulating case is formed with an operating space therein. At least a part of the fixed electrode is disposed in the operating space. The movable electrode is disposed in the operating space, and is configured to be engaged with and disengaged from the part of the fixed electrode. A flat surface of the insulating case and a flat surface of the fixed electrode, which are located in outermost positions in a predetermined side of the insulating case, form a plane in corporation with each other.

The media cartridge autoloader includes at least one mail slot through which a media cartridge is inserted and ejected, at least one media drive into which the media cartridge is loaded, at least one media cartridge storage section that stores the media cartridge, and a media cartridge picker. The media cartridge picker includes a turntable that supports the media cartridge and rotates to change the orientation of the media cartridge, a turntable rotating mechanism that rotates the turntable, and a media cartridge transporter that transports the media cartridge between the turntable and one of the mail slot, the media drive and the cartridge storage section. The turntable is provided with a media cartridge stopper member that stops the media cartridge inserted manually from the mail slot.

Abstract: A media cartridge autoloader is disclosed. A rotary arm that operates a cartridge transporter is rotated in one direction to reach a reference position. With reference to the reference position, the rotary arm is rotated through a predetermined angle in the opposite direction to reach a position, which is defined as a home position. The rotary arm includes a flag array, and a non-flag section at an end of the flag array. A photo sensor detects the arrival of the rotary arm at the reference position in response to a detection of the non-flag section.

Abstract: A tape cartridge recording/playback apparatus that receives a tape cartridge into an interior portion of the apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus includes a tape cartridge misleading prevention key that prevents misloading of the tape cartridge. The tape cartridge misleading key is rotatably mounted in the interior portion of the apparatus and includes (i) a protruding portion that blocks an inserting direction front end face of the tape cartridge when the tape cartridge is improperly inserted and inhibits the tape cartridge from being inserted further, the protruding portion being in a first plane, and (ii) a block portion that is contacted by the tape cartridge when the tape cartridge is properly inserted, the block portion moving the protruding portion to a position where the protruding portion does not block insertion of the tape cartridge, the block portion being in a second plane that is different than the first plane.
