Abstract: A dual-bearing reel comprises a spool rotatably supported between a left side plate and a right side plate of a reel main body, a handle provided on one of the left and right side plates to rotationally drive the spool, and an adjustment dial provided on a side plate on the opposite side of the handle. The side plate on the opposite side of the handle rotatably supports the adjustment dial on substantially the same axis as a rotation axis of the spool, and comprises an opening that exposes an arc region above the supported adjustment dial, and a cover portion is formed on an upper surface side of the side plate on the opposite side of the handle, the cover portion covering an outer peripheral surface on a front side of the adjustment dial and exposing an outer peripheral surface on a rear side thereof.
