  • Patent number: 7539318
Abstract: A speaker apparatus is configured such that a speaker unit including a single magnetic circuit system, a plurality of vibration systems and a case is housed inside a speaker box. In the speaker unit, magnetic gaps having a magnetic field of the same magnitude are defined by a magnet holder, a magnet and a yoke in each of the vibration systems. In one vibration system and the other vibration system, voice coils are wound around voice coil bobbins in directions reverse to each other. Consequently, the vibration systems are moved in directions opposite to each other by the same force by applying the same electric signal to the voice coil in each of the vibration systems from an amplifier. Therefore, acoustic waves are radiated in the directions opposite to each other.

  • Publication number: 20060025502
Abstract: There is provided a process for producing a cured coating film by crosslinking an aqueous resin containing in a molecule thereof, a group capable of being converted into an active hydrogen-containing group by the action of a proton, with a crosslinking agent reactive with active hydrogen in the active hydrogen-containing group in the presence of a crosslinking accelerator made of a water-soluble triazine compound capable of generating a proton upon reacting with water. According to the present invention, a cured coating film having a sufficient strength can be produced for a short period of time.

  • Publication number: 20060003085
Abstract: There is provided a process for producing a cured coating film by crosslinking a crosslinkable aqueous resin with aqueous polycarbodiimide in the presence of a crosslinking accelerator made of metal carbonate soluble in water, aqueous ammonia or aqueous organic amine solution. According to the present invention, a cured coating film having a sufficient strength can be produced for a shorter period of time than conventionally.

  • Publication number: 20050208675
Abstract: A plurality of droplets of a liquid sample containing a biological substance are applied to positions where all the droplets join with one another on a surface of a water repellent substrate by using a microarrayer of the ink-jet type having a jet tip, the microarrayer exerting a pressure on the liquid sample contained therein to eject a droplet amount of the liquid sample from the jet tip, to form a spot constructed by an integrated body of the plurality of the droplets on the surface of the substrate. This enables easy, efficient and uniform production of spots of sizes that can be easily observed visually by using a non-contact type microarrayer capable of forming minute spots.

  • Publication number: 20040048361
Abstract: The substrate for microarray of the present invention comprises a sample fixing part having a vessel-like shape having at least a planar bottom part on which a biological sample is fixed at a plurality of spots and a wall part which rises from a periphery of the bottom part and a supporting part that supports the sample fixing part at a predetermined height to make the bottom part horizontal. According to the present invention, a substrate for microarray that can make to perform a series of operations related to detection of a biological substance by using a microarray easy, provides accurate detection results at the detection, and can be applied to automation of a series of operation relating to the detection of a biological substance can be provided.

  • Publication number: 20040018613
Abstract: Microarray is produced by the method comprising the steps of forming a droplet of a liquid sample containing a biological substance at a pouring port of a micropipette by ejecting a predetermined amount of the liquid sample from the micropipette, supporting the micropipette at a position where the droplet formed at the pouring port can contact with a substrate, and transferring the droplet formed at the pouring port to the substrate, thereby spotting the sample on the substrate. The microarray has a plurality of visually identifiable spots of samples on the substrate.

  • Patent number: 6017742
Abstract: A material is provided for immobilization of biologically active substances which are reactive with a carbodiimide group. The material contains a carbodiimide group-containing polymer supported on a carrier such as a plastic, an inorganic polymer, a metal, a natural polymer or a ceramic. The carbodiimide group-containing polymer has 2 to 100 carbodiimide groups per molecule and a molecular weight of 1,000 to 100,000, and is prepared by carbodiimidization of an organic polyisocyanate in the presence of a catalyst. The polymer may be supported as a film on part or the whole area of the carrier. Biologically active substances that may be immobilized include enzymes, hormones, antibodies, antigens, heptenes, peptides, DNAs and RNAs.
