  • Patent number: 8629699
Abstract: A clock data recovery circuit which has a high degree of jitter tolerance and can alleviate increase in the phase number of a multi-phase clock, power consumption, and a semiconductor chip area is provided. Each circuit of plural edge detection circuits comprises a first edge detection circuit and a second edge detection circuit. The first detection circuit detects that a data edge leads in phase more than ?1 phase from an edge detection phase, the second detection circuit detects that the data edge laggs in phase more than +1 phase from the edge detection phase. In response to the first output signal or the second output signal, the edge detection phase is changed by the amount of ?1 phase or +1 phase. When the data edge is detected in the range of ±1 phase, a next edge detection phase is maintained in the current state.

Abstract: Provided is an actuator device including piezoelectric elements which are displaceably provided on a substrate. Each piezoelectric element is formed of a lower electrode, a piezoelectric layer and an upper electrode. In the actuator device, longitudinal end portions of the upper electrode define longitudinal end portions of a piezoelectric active portion to be a substantial driver of the piezoelectric element. The lower electrode and the piezoelectric layer are provided continuously to the longitudinal outside of the piezoelectric active portion. Regions of the piezoelectric layer outside of the piezoelectric active portion are formed so that thin film portions may have a thin thickness.

  • Patent number: 7787528
Abstract: Disclosed is a semiconductor IC device using a low-price oscillator, which is capable of bidirectional communication with a host and features a low price. In bidirectional communication between a host and a device, the device comprises a synchronization establishment unit, a frequency difference detector, a frequency generator, and an oscillator providing a reference signal. The synchronization establishment unit to which an output signal from the host is inputted outputs a received signal, a synchronization establishment signal and a reception data. The frequency difference detector detects a frequency difference between a received signal and a transmitting signal, and outputs a frequency coordination signal to the frequency generator. The number of frequency division of the frequency generator is controlled by the frequency coordination signal, and the frequency generator is capable of matching the frequency of the transmitting signal which is an output signal with the frequency of the received signal.
