    Abstract: A planetary gear device of vehicular power transmitting system includes a carrier, pinion gears, a sun gear, a ring gear, and a cylindrical output member disposed coaxially with the carrier and having the ring gear on inner surface, and a radially outer output gear on outer surface. The carrier is supported by a stationary support wall non-rotatably. The carrier is fixed to the support wall within a teeth width of the output gear. The carrier has support pins rotatably supporting the pinion gears respectively, a carrier body fitted with one end of each the support pin and fixedly fitted in the support wall non-rotatably, and a carrier cover connected to connecting portions extending from the carrier body and fitted with the other end of each the support pin. The support wall has support arm which abuts with the carrier cover. The carrier cover is fixed to the support arm.

    Abstract: A vehicle differential device having a differential case rotatably supported via a bearing by a housing and a drive shaft inserted into the differential case, including an oil sump member on the opposite side of the differential case to the bearing, the oil sump member including an insert hole into which the drive shaft is inserted, and an oil supply channel formed higher than the drive shaft in the vertical direction, wherein at least a portion of the insert hole is formed with a gap between the insertion hole and the drive shaft wider than that on the vertically lower side of the rotational axis of the drive shaft, the oil sump member includes a discharge hole allowing oil to flow out toward the differential case if an oil level of an oil chamber formed between the oil sump member and an oil seal exceeds a predetermined height.

    Abstract: A vehicle drive shaft is disclosed that includes a sliding type constant velocity joint, a shaft member, a boot, and an insolating member. The sliding type constant velocity joint includes an outer ring having an accommodation chamber, and an inner ring accommodated in the accommodation chamber. The isolating member forms a pressure relaxation chamber in the outer ring so as to isolate the pressure relaxation chamber and the accommodation chamber from each other. When the pressure in the accommodation chamber is raised, the isolating member is displaced toward the pressure relaxation chamber by a pressure difference between the accommodation chamber and the pressure relaxation chamber, thereby increasing the volume of the accommodation chamber. When the pressure in the accommodation chamber is lowered, the isolating member is displaced toward the accommodation chamber by the pressure difference, thereby decreasing the volume of the accommodation chamber.
