  • Patent number: 10809839
Abstract: A touch panel display device is provided with an active matrix substrate having multiple pixels corresponding to N-number colors (N is an odd number of three or more). The active matrix substrate includes multiple source lines, multiple common electrodes, and multiple signal lines connected to the respective common electrodes. The active matrix substrate includes, outside its display area, a source line driving circuit, a common electrode driving circuit that supplies a predetermined voltage signal to the signal lines, source line connection portions that connect between the source lines and the source line driving circuit, signal line connection portions that connect between the signal lines and the common electrode driving circuit, and multiple outside-area dummy lines having predetermined potential.

  • Patent number: 9904130
Abstract: There are provided connecting wires whose reliability may be ensured by preventing leakage between the connecting wires and by preventing entry of moisture. Overexposure is performed by using a mask having a shape of a protruding pattern (55a) with a sharp tip end at a position corresponding to a pattern edge of an organic insulating film (70) between adjacent connecting wires (50). Inclination of an inclined surface of the organic insulating film (70) sandwiched by the connecting wires (50) is thereby made gradual, and thus, at the time of forming the connecting wires (50), a film thickness of a resist may be prevented from becoming thick along an edge line of the organic insulating film (70). As a result, the resist is prevented from remaining in a connected manner at a region sandwiched by the adjacent connecting wires (50), and leakage between the adjacent connecting wires (50) may be prevented.

  • Patent number: 9076395
Abstract: A liquid crystal display device (100) according to the present invention includes a plurality of pixels arrayed in a matrix, n number of the pixels (n is an even number of 4 or greater) being included in a color display pixel (CP). The liquid crystal display device includes an active matrix substrate (10) including a plurality of scanning lines (12) extending in a row direction and a plurality of signal lines (13) extending in a column direction; and a signal line driving circuit (3) that supplies, as a display signal, a gray scale voltage of a positive or negative polarity to each of the plurality of signal lines. The plurality of signal lines include a first type of signal line (13a) which does not intersect another signal line, and a second type of signal line (13b) which intersects a signal line adjacent thereto outside a display area in the state where an insulating film (16) is interposed therebetween.
