  • Publication number: 20240309974
Abstract: A hose for conveying a refrigerant, having an inner surface layer that includes a thermoplastic resin composition with a sea-island structure or a thermoplastic resin, an outer surface layer that includes a thermoplastic resin composition having a sea-island structure, and a reinforcing layer. An oxygen permeability coefficient at a temperature of 21° C. and a relative humidity of 50% of the thermoplastic resin composition or the thermoplastic resin of the inner surface layer is 0.05 cm3·mm/(m2·day·mmHg) or less. A water vapor permeability coefficient at a temperature of 60° C. and a relative humidity of 100% of the thermoplastic resin composition of the outer surface layer being is 10.0 g·mm/(m2·24 h) or less. The reinforcing layer includes an organic fiber with an inclination angle of 49° or more and 61° or less.

  • Publication number: 20240263723
Abstract: Provided is a refrigerant-transporting hose having a low gas permeability of steam, fluorocarbons, or the like, and being flexible and light-weight. The refrigerant-transporting hose includes at least an outer layer, a reinforcing layer, and an inner layer. The outer layer has a layer composed of a thermoplastic resin composition A, and the inner layer has a layer composed of a thermoplastic resin composition B. The thermoplastic resin composition A has a sea-island structure in which a thermoplastic resin a containing a polyolefin resin serves as the matrix and from 51 to 85 mass % of an elastomer a containing a butyl elastomer serves as the domains. The thermoplastic resin composition B has a sea-island structure in which a thermoplastic resin b containing a polyamide resin serves as the matrix and an elastomer b containing a butyl elastomer serves as the domains.

  • Patent number: 11813920
Abstract: Provided is a piping system for an air conditioner installed in a vehicle that can achieve appropriate weight reduction while ensuring appropriate pressure resistance as the piping system as a whole. A circulation path that connects component devices of an air conditioner (8) in an annular shape to circulate a refrigerant (C) is formed by each pipe body extending between the component devices. At least one of the pipe bodies includes: a resin hose (2) embedded with a non-metal reinforcing material (3f) or a resin pipe (5) embedded with a non-metal reinforcing material (6f), and the resin pipe bodies (2), (5) are employed in 50% or more of a total length of each of the pipe bodies constituting the circulation path.
