  • Publication number: 20080083557
Abstract: A wire fixing portion (17) is so formed with a slit (24) as to minimize a tightening diameter at the wire fixing portion (17) by narrowing the slit (24). Thus, there is no likelihood of displacing a fixing band (25) fastened to a middle part of the wire fixing portion (17) toward a side where the tightening diameter is larger. Accordingly, displacements of the fixing band (25) relative to the wire fixing portion (17) are restricted, wherefore displacements of the wires (W) relative to the wire fixing portion (17) are suppressed.

  • Patent number: 7347744
Abstract: Each of a plurality of auxiliary connector (10) includes an auxiliary housing (11), a seal (40) attached to the rear of the auxiliary housing (11), and a rear holder (50) mounted on the rear of the seal (40) to retain the seal (40). Auxiliary connectors (10) that are adjacent in an arranging direction are united by the rear holders (50). The united auxiliary connectors (10) are inserted into a frame (60) in the arranging direction through an insertion opening (60A) of the frame (60), and are retained in the frame (60) by engaging a lock (50B) on the last auxiliary connector (10A) and an interlocking portion (61) of the frame (60). The frame (60) has no partition walls between the auxiliary connectors (10). Thus, the connector is narrowed by a total thickness of the partition walls.

  • Publication number: 20080064261
Abstract: A wire cover (1) has a connector-side fixing portion (10) to be fixed to a connector, a wire pressing portion (20) to be held in contact with wires (W), and a connecting portion (30) connecting the connector-side fixing portion (10) and wire pressing portion (20). Resilient engaging pieces (23) project from the wire pressing portion (20) and are formed with engaging holes (25) that can engage engaging projections (42) of a mating member (40) to fix the wire pressing portion (20) to the mating member (40). Catching holes (26) are formed at the leading ends of the resilient engaging pieces (23) and can be caught by a jig (50) inserted from the base side of the resilient engaging piece (23) to displace the resilient engaging piece (23) in a direction to disengage the engaging hole (25) and engaging projection (42).

  • Publication number: 20070228768
Abstract: A door handle device (S) has a handle-side connector (30) fixed to a door handle (10) that is hinged to a handle frame (20). Thus, the door handle device (S) is displaceable as the door handle (10) is turned. A frame-side connector (40) is located in the handle frame (20) and is connectable with the handle-side connector (30) for displacement with the handle-side connector (30) as the door handle (10) is turned. A clamp (60) has a wire retaining portion (61) for retaining a wire group (80) drawn out through an end surface of the frame-side connector (40) and a handle attaching portion (62) continuous with the wire retaining portion (61) for attachment to the door handle (10). Thus, a relative position of the wire retaining portion (61) to the door handle (10) is invariable.

  • Patent number: 7147500
Abstract: A rubber plug (10) has a main body (11) with opposite front and rear ends. A wire insertion hole (12) extends through the main body (11) from the rear end to the front end and has a wire-introducing opening (14) at the rear end. A forwardly and inwardly tapered portion (18) is formed on the outer circumferential surface of the main body (11) at the front end and a fastening portion (17) is rearward of the tapered portion (18). Protrusions (19) project radially out at the front end of the main body (11). The maximum outer diameter of the front end, including the protrusions (19), exceeds the inner diameter of the wire-introducing opening (14) at the rear end of the main body (11) and is no greater than the minimum outer diameter of the fastening portion (17).

  • Patent number: 7033215
Abstract: A rubber plug (10) is inserted into a cavity (21) of a connector housing (20) after an insulated wire (40) is inserted through a wire insertion hole (11) to provide a watertight seal between an inner wall of the cavity (24) and the insulated wire (40). Frictional resistance between the inner wall of the cavity (24) and the rubber plug (10) is larger than the frictional resistance between the insulated wire (40) and the rubber plug (10). The frictional resistance between the insulated wire (40) and the rubber plug (10) permits movement of the insulated wire (40) relative to the rubber plug (10) when the insulated wire (40) is caused to expand in longitudinal direction by heat.
