  • Publication number: 20100303253
Abstract: A vehicle control device has a plurality of speakers and a security ECU which identifies whether a door is opened or unlocked on the basis of output signals from the speakers. The security ECU identifies the driving direction of a driven portion on the basis of the difference between input times of sounds inputted to the speakers. Moreover, the ECU has RAM containing the waveforms of the signals outputted from the speakers and compares the waveforms of the signals contained in the RAM with the waveforms of the signals outputted from the speakers to identify the driving direction of the driven portion.

  • Publication number: 20100253490
Abstract: An anti-theft system of a vehicle includes multiple speakers 1, 2, 3 and 4 that detect an impact applied to the vehicle; and a security ECU 10 that executes a detection unit identification process for identifying a speaker that detects the impact first on the basis of values of signals from multiple speakers 1, 2; 3 and 4; an impact location estimation process for estimating that the impact is applied to a window glass when a value of a signal from the identified speaker is greater than or equal to a predetermined threshold value, and estimating that the impact is applied to a vehicle body when the value of the signal from the identified speaker is less than or equal to the predetermined threshold value; and an impact location identification process for estimating a distance between the estimated detection unit and a generation source of the impact by a correction coefficient for a case that the estimated impact location is the window glass when the estimated impact location is the window glass, estimating th

  • Publication number: 20100256834
Abstract: Multiple speakers mounted to a vehicle, and a body ECU which includes a unit that identifies a driven part of the vehicle which is knocked based on input information from the multiple speakers, and a unit that drives the identified driven part. The body ECU identifies the driven part on the basis of the difference between input times of a sound input to the multiple speakers. The body ECU determines whether the user carries a portable device, and determines whether to permit or not the drive of the driven part.
