  • Patent number: 9070215
Abstract: If the size of an error portion within an image of the frame of interest is equal to or larger than a threshold and it is determined that no error portion exists within an image of a frame immediately before the frame of interest, a display unit (115) is caused to display the image of the frame immediately before the frame of interest as the image of the frame of interest. If the size of an error portion within the image of the frame of interest is smaller than the threshold and it is determined that an error portion exists within the image of the frame immediately before the frame of interest, the display unit (115) is caused to display a result obtained by correcting the error portion within the image of the frame of interest using a pixel group surrounding the error portion.

  • Patent number: 8804127
Abstract: An OCT apparatus that photographs with a plurality of measuring beams concurrently, has a mechanism for adjusting the optical path length of a reference beam for each measuring beam. Accordingly, when tomographic images photographed in this manner are displayed side by side, because the depth of photographing varies from one tomographic image to another, it is difficult for an operator to comprehend the positional relation between the photographed images. In displaying tomographic images acquired with a plurality of measuring beams, the display position of each tomographic image is adjusted based on the changed optical path length of a reference beam of the measuring beam used for the image. The tomographic images are thus aligned in height and are presented in a manner that is easy for the operator to comprehend the positional relation between the photographed images.

  • Patent number: 8345952
Abstract: A first process to be executed by an apparatus and a second process to be executed by an apparatus to obtain a composite image by compositing a real space image with a virtual space image are determined by negotiation. The apparatus (101) transmits data necessary for executing the second process to the apparatus. The apparatus executes the second process by using the data and transmits the process result to the apparatus. The apparatus receives the process result by the apparatus and executes the first process. • Patent number: 8045825
Abstract: A left-eye color discrimination unit (1101) and right-eye color discrimination unit (1102) generate mask images from virtual space images. If an error part exists at the boundary between a chroma key region and non-chroma key region in the mask image, each of a left-eye mask correction unit (1108) and right-eye mask correction unit (1110) corrects the error part using another mask image generated based on the other virtual space image in addition to the virtual space image.

  • Patent number: 8019148
Abstract: By applying identification processing to each index included in a captured image, a set of an identifier, image coordinates, and an image number is acquired for each index, and the acquired set is registered in a data saving unit. The data saving unit manages the numbers of times of previous identification for respective identifiers. A display unit displays the number of times managed in association with an identifier in a set to be registered every time the set is registered. An index position and orientation calculation unit calculates the positions and orientations of indices corresponding to a set group using the set group registered in a memory.

  • Publication number: 20080291219
Abstract: Position and orientation information indicating the relative position and orientation relationship between the viewpoint of the observer and a physical space object on a physical space is acquired. A virtual space image is generated based on the acquired position and orientation information, and is rendered on a memory. A physical space image of the physical space object is acquired. By rendering the acquired physical space image on the memory on which the virtual space image has already been rendered, the physical space image and the virtual space image are combined. The obtained composite image is output.
