  • Patent number: 10277805
Abstract: In a monitoring system, each individual camera device divides image data acquired by an image sensor unit into a plurality of areas, and detects video-image abnormality from an average luminance signal value in each area or from a change thereof. The camera device that has detected video abnormality transmits video-image abnormality detection information to a server. In the plurality of areas, it is possible to use different detection algorithms such as a first algorithm in which it is determined that an abnormality has occurred when there is no change in the average luminance value, a second algorithm in which it is determined that an abnormality has occurred when there is a change in the average luminance value, and a third algorithm for observing a change in the video captured while a change is made to an aperture, exposure time, or the like.

  • Publication number: 20130230294
Abstract: The purpose of the present invention is to provide an image monitoring system which can be used in a place where a network cannot be established and has excellent portability. When an image is captured during the daytime or in a bright place, a camera (10) is equipped with a near-infrared cut filter, captures an image of a subject, and outputs a color image. On the other hand, when an image is captured during the nighttime or in a dark place, the near-infrared cut filter is removed from the camera (10), an LED light (11) irradiates the subject with near-infrared light in synchronization with the shutter speed of the camera (10), and the camera (10) captures an image of the near-infrared light reflected by the subject and outputs a monochrome image. The image outputted from the camera (10) is inputted to a recording device via a dedicated cable.

  • Patent number: 7558323
Abstract: In a picture transmission network including networks of different transmission speeds, when a picture is sent at a bit rate which is adjusted to the transmission speed of a low-speed network, only a low-quality picture of a low bit rate is obtained in a video reception unit connected to a network of a high transmission speed. When a picture is sent at a transmission rate of a network having high transmission speed, the picture cannot be reproduced at all in a video reception unit connected to a network of a low transmission speed. To solve the problem, a video transmission unit generates at least an I picture data and a plurality of P picture data. In accordance with a request from the network, the I picture data and a predetermined number of P picture data is transmitted to the network.

  • Patent number: 7433069
Abstract: An image transmission apparatus and method for use with at least two transmission paths having different transmission rates from one another. The image transmission apparatus comprises an image input for receiving an image signal, a coding processing unit for encoding the image signal, a protocol control unit for packetizing the data encoded by the coding processing unit to generate data packets for transmission, and a transmission unit for transmitting the data packets. The protocol control unit has at least one timer processing unit which controls a data packet transmission interval individually corresponding to the transmission rates of the respective transmission paths based on data packet discard ratio information from the transmission paths.

  • Patent number: 5996471
Abstract: An aluminum alloy for internal-combustion engine pistons has good high-temperature strength and good abrasion resistance. It comprises from 2 to 5% by weight of copper, from 13 to 16% by weight of silicon, from 0.2 to 1.3% by weight of magnesium, from 1.0 to 2.5% by weight of nickel from 0.05 to 0.2% by weight of vanadium and from 0.004 to 0.02% by weight of phosphorus, with the balance of aluminum. To produce the piston, a melt of the aluminum alloy having the defined composition is cast and then aged under heat at 220 to 260.degree. C. for 3 to 5 hours (T5 treatment) or, after having been cast, heated at 480 to 510.degree. C. for 3 to 10 hours for solution treatment and then aged under heat at 240 to 260.degree. C. for 3 to 5 hours (T6 or T7 treatment).
