  • Patent number: 7769150
Abstract: A device includes a facsimile circuit, a voltage detector, an open-circuit voltage detector, and a telephone status monitoring unit. If a first voltage difference is less than a predetermined voltage difference, the monitoring unit judges that the public line is released if a second voltage difference is less than the predetermined difference, and that the public line is closed if the second difference is not less than the predetermined difference. If, when the facsimile circuit has released the public line, the first difference is not less than the predetermined difference, the monitoring unit judges that the public line is released if the second difference is less than the predetermined difference or if the detected line voltage equals the open-circuit voltage, and that the public line is closed if the second difference is not less than the predetermined difference and if the detected line voltage is different from the open-circuit voltage.

  • Patent number: 7720201
Abstract: In a communication apparatus has a line control unit that controls connection with a communication line network, a communication unit transmits/receives data through the communication line network. A detection circuit detects one of a line voltage value and a line current value when the communication apparatus is connected to the line network. A memory unit stores multiple voltage-current characteristic curves defining relationships of line voltage values with respect to line current values satisfying a predetermined standard. An adjusting unit adjusts the line voltage value and the line current value so as to satisfy the predetermined standard based on one of the voltage-current characteristic curves stored in the memory unit. A selecting unit selects another voltage-current characteristic curve different from the one of the voltage-current characteristic curves from among the multiple voltage-current characteristic curves stored in the memory unit.

  • Publication number: 20090185706
Abstract: There is provided a headphone including: a housing that accommodates a driver unit; a sound guiding tube that protrudes from the housing in a predetermined direction and guides a sound generated from the driver unit to an external auditory canal; and a hanger that rotatably supports the housing via a supporting shaft provided in approximately the same direction as a depth direction of the external auditory canal and in a direction inclined to a protruding direction of the sound guiding tube. According to this structure, by rotating the housing with respect to the hanger via the supporting shaft, the protruding direction of the sound guiding tube with respect to the hanger can be adjusted. Thus, by adjusting the protruding direction of the sound guiding tube according to the inclined angle of the external auditory canal of a user, wearability of a headphone can be improved.
