    Abstract: A motor includes a stationary portion, a rotating portion, and a bearing portion. The rotating portion includes a shaft that rotates about a central axis extending vertically. The stationary portion includes a bearing housing, a stator, and a circuit board. The circuit board is above the stator and includes an insertion hole that permits insertion of the bearing housing. The stator includes a stator core, an insulator, a coil, and a terminal pin. The terminal pin is connected to a conductive wire and connected to the circuit board via a solder portion covered with a coating layer. The insulator includes a base portion and a wall portion. The wall portion protrudes upward from the base portion, is radially outward of the bearing housing, and contacts a radially inner surface of the circuit board at the insertion hole.

An upstream oil supply passage through which the oil filtrated by the oil filter flows is formed at the oil pan. A downstream oil supply passage including a main gallery extending in a cylinder column direction is formed at the cylinder block. A first communication passage through which the main gallery and the upstream oil supply passage communicate with each other is formed at the wall portion of the cylinder block and the wall portion of the oil pan.

A heat exchanger is not formed in the main circulation path including the combustion-chamber-side jacket, but is formed in the sub circulation path excluding the combustion-chamber-side jacket and including the exhaust-port-side jacket.

The control apparatus controls the oil pump so that, during an operation state of the engine where the oil enters a prescribed high oil temperature state, the oil is discharged in an amount exceeding a discharge amount corresponding to the required oil pressure of the hydraulic operating section.
