    Abstract: A stator for a rotating electric machine includes a stator core and a stator coil. The stator core is formed of a band-shaped steel sheet that is helically bent and laminated. The stator core has slots each opening at an inner periphery of the stator core and spaced from one another in a circumferential direction. The stator coil is formed of electrical conductor segments that are inserted in the slots of the stator core and connected with one another. The band-shaped steel sheet has slits each of which is formed, at a position corresponding to one of the slots, to be open to the corresponding slot. Each of the electrical conductor segments is substantially U-shaped and has a pair of leg portions respectively inserted in corresponding two of the slots of the stator core; the corresponding two slots are circumferentially apart from each other by two or more slot-pitches.

The method further includes removing the first portion of the first insulating layer to form a groove at a position corresponding to the first portion, applying the conductive paste in the groove to form a coil conductor layer in the groove, and applying the insulating paste on the first insulating layer and the coil conductor layer to form a second insulating layer.

    Abstract: A reflectance measurement part measures the reflectance of a back surface of a semiconductor wafer. An imaging parameter of a camera is adjusted based on the measured reflectance. The imaging parameter includes exposure time and sensitivity of the camera. The camera with the adjusted imaging parameter images the back surface of the semiconductor wafer to determine the presence or absence of a flaw from the obtained image data. The camera is able to perform appropriate imaging in accordance with the reflectance of the back surface of the semiconductor wafer. Thus, a flaw in the back surface of the semiconductor wafer is detected with reliability even if the reflectance of the back surface is varied due to the deposition of a thin film on the back surface.

    Abstract: A reference voltage generation circuit includes a Zener diode and a current generation circuit connected to the Zener diode in parallel. The current generation circuit includes a resistance voltage divider circuit, a transistor circuit and a voltage control circuit. The resistance voltage divider circuit has a branch portion for branching the current into two paths, and outputs a reference voltage acquired by voltage division through a resistive element. The transistor circuit includes two NPN transistors and a series resistance circuit in which resistive elements are connected in series. The two NPN transistors respectively having collectors, bases and emitters. The collectors are respectively connected to the two paths. The bases have a common connection. The series resistance circuit is connected between a ground and one of the emitters. The voltage control circuit equalizes respective collector potentials of the two NPN transistors.
