  • Patent number: 9078351
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a grounding gasket includes a main body and a projecting part. The main body is configured to be interposed between a ground part and a substrate and contact the ground part and the substrate. The projecting part projects from the main body. The projecting part is configured to extend through a through-hole which is opened in the substrate, project to a side opposite to a side on which the ground part is located, and contact a conductive component mounted on the substrate.

  • Patent number: 8072937
Abstract: A wireless communication apparatus capable of shortening the handover time and preventing the connection from being interrupted during telephone communication. In this apparatus, an HO part (109), when detecting an access point, outputs an handover control signal for performing a handover that is a process of switching from a communication using a third generation mobile communication system to a communication using a WLAN. A positional information acquiring part (112) receives a GPS signal transmitted from a GPS satellite and generates GPS information indicative of the position of the local apparatus. When the GPS information shows that the local apparatus approaches the area of the WLAN by a predetermined distance, a period deciding part (115) decides that the period be shorter than when the local apparatus is at the predetermined distance away from the area of the WLAN.

  • Publication number: 20090047946
Abstract: A terminal apparatus that selects, from among a plurality of communication modules, a communication module, which is useful to the user, without increasing current consumption and starts communication in a short time. In this apparatus, which includes a cellular communication module (210) for performing cellular communication and a WLAN communication module (220) for performing WLAN communication, the WLAN communication module (220) is activated by a user operation performed prior to the starting of communication, thereby preferentially performing the connection to a WLAN communication system. There is also included a mail size determining circuit (233) or an activated module selecting circuit (410) as a communication module selecting means for deciding, from the content of the user operation, to select one of the cellular communication module (210) and WLAN communication module (220) that has a useful communication format to the user.
