  • Publication number: 20250103250
Abstract: An information processing system includes a memory configured to store property information about one or plural types of recording media; and one or plural processors configured to: acquire property information about a target recording medium; display, on a display, a scatter chart indicating distribution of properties of the recording media for which the property information is stored in the memory and properties of the target recording medium; and display, on the same screen as a screen on which the scatter chart is displayed or on a screen different from the screen on which the scatter chart is displayed, an operation setting of an image forming apparatus for one of the recording media indicated in the scatter chart.

  • Patent number: 8392155
Abstract: A particle behavior analysis system includes a calculation section that, regarding a decomposition portion decomposed in accordance with a decomposition method in a range to be analyzed, considers interaction force with another substance that acts on a particle and calculates behavior of the particle, while performing information communication with other devices; and an output processing section that switches output advisability of an analysis result obtained by the calculation section based on priority of the decomposition portion corresponding to the advisability of output processing of the analysis result.

  • Patent number: 8024162
Abstract: A particle behavior analysis method uses plural computers connected via a network to analyze particle behavior considering an interaction force with a different substance acting on a particle. The method includes analyzing the particle behavior by using a force decomposition paralleling algorithm using a force matrix considering at least two or more types of interaction forces.

  • Publication number: 20090094310
Abstract: The parallel computing system is provided with: plural computing nodes that perform a computation; a management node that is connected to the plural computing nodes, and that manages parallel computing by the plural computing nodes; and an external memory that is connected to the management node, that is accessible from the management node and the plural computing nodes, and that uses a semiconductor memory as a memory medium. The management node allocates data to be processed to each of the computing nodes, and creates an individual data file for each of the computing nodes in the external memory, and each of the computing nodes performs a computation by accessing the external memory and by reading the data file allocated to itself and a different data file to be referenced in a computation using the allocated data file, and outputs a computation result to the external memory.
