  • Publication number: 20060123295
Abstract: In response to an input of a first shift clock in the order of the last register to the head register in the scan connection configuration circuit and memory array, a scan control circuit first copies data from each first device in the last register in the memory array to each second storage device in the scan connection configuration circuit in parallel, and outputs shift data from a second storage device at the least significant bit in the scan connection configuration circuit to the outside of the shift register output terminal. Next, data is sequentially copied from each first storage device in an upper side register in the memory array to each first storage device in a lower side register in parallel.

  • Publication number: 20060114021
Abstract: A plurality of conduction control circuits controls conduction of input signals. A logical operation circuit receives output signals from each of the conduction control circuits via a plurality of signal paths, and performs a logical operation on each of the output signals to output a single signal. A signal-level setting circuit sets, when the conduction of the input signals in the conduction control circuits connected to a same signal path is blocked, a signal level of the signal path. A control-signal generating circuit generates a first control signal that controls the conduction control circuits to select only one input signal for conduction, and a second control signal that controls the signal-level setting circuit to set the signal level of the signal path, by performing a logical operation on a same input signal.

  • Publication number: 20060018058
Abstract: An operation signal generator circuits are provided to continue to operate an object circuit which is not operated unless an operation signal arrives for the purpose of power consumption reduction, and thereby the object circuit is put into dummy operation. This enables an influence of environmental factors, which may affect operation of the circuit element included in the object circuit, to be maintained in a stable or balanced state, and also enables stable and accurate operation of the object circuit at the time of actual operation, with reduced power consumption.

  • Publication number: 20040171239
Abstract: For the formation of a first aluminum interconnect line (3) serving as a lower electrode of a MIM capacitor element, an antireflection film (4) having a two-layer structure of a TiN layer (41) and a SiON layer (42) is used. The SiON layer (42) of the antireflection film (4) is utilized as-is as a dielectric layer of the MIM capacitor element. An upper electrode (81) and a contact plug (82) are formed by the same process. Since the upper surfaces of the upper electrode (81) and the contact plug (82) are at the same level, an electrical contact can be easily provided between a second aluminum interconnect line (10) and each of the upper electrode (81) and the lower electrode (first aluminum interconnect line (3)) of the MIM capacitor element. Accordingly, the MIM capacitor element and contacts to the upper and lower electrodes of the MIM capacitor element can be formed through simple processes.

  • Patent number: 6252655
Abstract: The present invention relates to a distance measuring apparatus which computes the distance from the apparatus to a target by measuring a period of time from when pulse light is emitted toward the target until a reflected component from the target is received. This apparatus comprises a structure for enabling accurate distance measurement by comparing a result of measurement concerning measurement pulse light emitted into a measurement optical path and a result of measurement concerning reference pulse light emitted into a reference optical path. In particular, this apparatus specifies, as the reflected pulse light from the target, the reflected component of the measurement pulse light initially detected after the measurement pulse light is emitted, and adjusts light quantity such that the light quantity of the initially detected reflected component coincides with that of the reference pulse light.
