  • Publication number: 20190302444
Abstract: An endoscopic device having an optical path switching part can determine whether or not an optical path is correctly switched by image processing without physically mounting an additional optical path detecting part. The endoscopic device includes a switching part that performs switching between a first optical system and a second optical system, an image pickup device, and a controller. The controller instructs the switching part to switch an optical system, compares, after the switching instruction is given, a plurality of images generated by the image pickup device before and after the switching instruction is given, and determines on the basis of a result of the comparison whether or not the switching is performed normally by the switching part.

  • Patent number: 9516245
Abstract: An endoscope apparatus includes: e.g., an image pickup device including an effective pixel region and an ineffective pixel region, a signal transmission cable that transmits an output signal from the image pickup device, an analog front-end circuit that samples the transmitted output signal and converts a resulting output signal into a digital signal, and a timing generator that generate first and second image pickup drive signals for driving the image pickup device in first and second image pickup device drive modes using horizontal transfer clocks having different frequencies, respectively, and when the first image pickup device drive mode is switched to the second image pickup device drive mode, a control circuit adjusts a timing for a timing generator to generate the second image pickup drive signal.

  • Publication number: 20140300717
Abstract: An endoscope apparatus has an insertion portion having an image pickup device in a distal end portion, and a main body portion. The endoscope apparatus has a waveform shaping circuit that is provided in the distal end portion of the insertion portion, a stabilizing circuit that stabilizes a power supply voltage to the waveform shaping circuit, a load circuit that is connected to a power supply line that supplies the power supply voltage of the waveform shaping circuit, and a current drawing circuit that draws a predetermined current to the load circuit from the power supply line in response to an operation state of the waveform shaping circuit so that a potential difference between a power supply voltage of the waveform shaping circuit in a non-operation time period of the waveform shaping circuit and a power supply voltage in an operation time period of the waveform shaping circuit becomes small.
