  • Publication number: 20110068043
Abstract: An AC adapter unit compactly houses the AC adapter block and DC cable so that radiation noise from the DC cable is not amplified. The AC adapter unit 4 has an AC adapter 7 that includes an AC adapter block 52 and a DC cable 51, and a storage tray 6 that stores the AC adapter 7. The connector-side cable part 51b of the DC cable 51 is stored in the storage tray 6 on the left-side part 6D of the AC adapter block 52. The connector-side cable part 51b has a bundled part 51c with a figure-8 shape when seen from the top opening 6a side of the storage tray 6. The long axis of this bundled part 51c is parallel to the long axis of the AC adapter block 52. Because the DC cable 51 has a figure-8 shaped bundled part 51c, the part that runs parallel to electronic circuit boards inside the AC adapter block 52 is reduced and amplification of radiation noise is reduced.

  • Publication number: 20100166483
Abstract: A recording device has a recording unit that records on a recording medium, a transportation unit that conveys and discharges from an discharge opening the recording medium recorded by the recording unit, a cutting unit that cuts the recording medium recorded by the recording unit at a predetermined position on the transportation path of the transportation unit, and a control unit that causes a ticket to be output by causing the recording unit to record on the recording medium while causing the transportation unit to convey the recording medium only a specified ticket length and causing the cutting unit to cut. When a next ticket is not output after a ticket is output, the control unit causes the output ticket to be recorded and conveyed the specified ticket length, advanced a preset additional transportation distance, and then cut by the cutting unit.

  • Publication number: 20090195629
Abstract: A medium processing device is provided. A case defines a space. A storage unit is configured to store a medium. A media drive is operable to perform at least one of writing data on the medium and reading data from the medium. A liquid ejecting unit is operable to eject liquid onto a surface of the medium. An air introducing port is configured to introduce air into the space from outside of the space. An air discharging port is configured to discharge the air to the outside from the space. The space includes a first part in which the media drive is disposed, a second part in which the liquid ejecting unit is disposed and a third part in which the storage unit is disposed. The air introducing port is provided in the first part and the air discharging port is provided in the second part. The first part, the second part and the third part are disposed so that the air is introduced into the first part, flows through the third part and is discharged from the second part.

  • Patent number: 7349202
Abstract: A data processing device is described, having on its front a large display device, in which the tilt angle of the display device is adjustable whether the main unit of the data processing device is positioned either vertically or horizontally. A display device mounting unit 70 rendered at the front top part of the main unit 20 has a curved recessed portion 71 which when seen in section curves at an angle from the front to the inside of the main unit 20. A mounting member 50 having a curved surface 51 that is convex in section is attached so that the mounting member 50 can slide along the arc of the curved recessed portion 71. The mounting member 50 is also fastened to the top or bottom end of the back of the display device 30. Sliding the mounting member 50 along the arc of the display device mounting unit 70 when the display device 30 is installed to the main unit 20 enables adjusting the tilt angle of the display device 30.
