  • Patent number: 10719347
Abstract: A control apparatus comprises first to third parts. The first part manages an image, which is information required for execution of a container. The second part requests the third part to start a container corresponding to an image of a predetermined version. The third part instructs the container corresponding to the image of the predetermined version to be created in response to the request from the second part on the basis of the image managed by the first part.

  • Publication number: 20170132030
Abstract: [Technical Problem] To maximize utilization efficiency of hardware resources in a hypervisor type of virtual machine systems. [Solution to Problem]A scheduler control means 300 has virtual CPU generation means 310 for generating a plurality of virtual CPUs which operate once per predetermined operation cycle of a CPU resource 100 and virtual machine group generation means 320 for grouping virtual machines VMs into a plurality of groups. Furthermore, the scheduler control means 300 has virtual machine running period setting means 330 for assigning each virtual machine group VMG to each of the virtual CPUs_VCPUs. The virtual machine running period setting means 330 also sets up an operation period on each virtual machine to ensure a running within an operation period of a virtual CPU_VCPU for the first virtual machine VM in the virtual machine group VMG.

  • Publication number: 20160261517
Abstract: A device includes a packet reception unit, a received packet buffer, a priority acquisition unit, and a packet arrangement order adjustment unit. The packet reception unit is configured to receive a packet. The received packet buffer is configured to store a packet received by the packet reception unit. The priority acquisition unit is configured to obtain a priority of the packet based on transmission source information and destination information included in the packet received by the packet reception unit. The packet arrangement order adjustment unit is configured to change an order of the packets stored in the received packet buffer to an order in accordance with the priority.

  • Patent number: 9438498
Abstract: There is provided a resource optimization method enabling a stable live migration. An amount of generated traffic that is anticipated to be generated is estimated based on the number of subscribers to be processed by a SIP server on a virtual machine (step S1). Since it is not necessary to perform a live migration of the virtual machine when the estimated amount of generated traffic is less than or equal to an optimum value predetermined as throughput of physical hardware on which the virtual machine operates (“Yes” in step S2), monitoring of the number of number of subscribers is continued by returning to step S1. Meanwhile, when the estimated amount of generated traffic exceeds the optimum value (“No” in step S2), an optimum physical hardware which has a margin for processing the amount of generated traffic is selected, and the virtual machine live-migrates to the selected physical hardware (step S3).
