  • Publication number: 20240027011
Abstract: In a connection structure of a pipe in which a first pipe provided outside a case and a second pipe provided inside the case are connected via a gasket while sealing a space between the first pipe and a through hole provided on a wall body of the case and a space between the through hole and the second pipe, the gasket has a tubular first holding portion, an inner circumferential first lip portion, an outer circumferential lip portion, a tubular second holding portion, and an inner circumferential second lip portion. Resistance applied on the first holding portion including the inner circumferential first lip portion when the first pipe is pulled out of the through hole is smaller than total of resistance generated in the outer circumferential lip portion against pull-out direction and resistance generated in the inner circumferential second lip portion against pull-out direction.

  • Patent number: 9404458
Abstract: A fuel injection valve damping insulator damps vibration produced in a fuel injection valve (11). A damping insulator (30) is interposed between a shoulder portion (18) of a cylinder head and a tapered surface (24) of the fuel injection valve (11) that faces the shoulder portion. The damping insulator (30) includes an annular tolerance ring (33) that abuts against the tapered surface (24), and an elastic member (36) that is arranged between the tolerance ring (33) and the shoulder portion (18). An annular coil spring (34) and a sleeve (35) are each embedded juxtaposed in the elastic member (36). A height (H2) of the sleeve (35) is formed lower than an outer diameter (H1) of individual small ring portions that form a helix of the coil spring (34), and at least one of a tolerance ring (33) side and a shoulder portion (18) side of the sleeve (35) is buried in the elastic member (36).

  • Patent number: 8978624
Abstract: A fuel injection valve is mounted in a cylinder head by being inserted in an insertion hole provided in the cylinder head. A shoulder section is provided at the inlet portion of the insertion hole to be expanded in an annular shape. The fuel injection valve is provided with a stepped section expanded in diameter in a tapered manner to have a tapered surface facing the shoulder section. A vibration insulator is disposed between the stepped section and the shoulder section. The vibration insulator is provided with a circular annular tolerance ring making contact with the tapered surface of the fuel injection valve. A circular annular sleeve section coaxial with the tolerance ring is integrally formed on the tolerance ring to extend from the surface of a portion of the tolerance ring, the portion not facing the tapered surface of the fuel injection valve.

  • Patent number: 8763588
Abstract: A vibration insulator which can compensate for axial eccentricity occurring in a fuel injection valve and suppress vibrations of the valve during operation of a combustion engine and a support structure for the valve. The vibration insulator is interposed between a step height portion of the valve and a shoulder portion. The step height portion is increased in diameter in a tapered fashion and inserted into an insertion hole of a cylinder head. The shoulder portion is annularly extended in an inlet portion of the insertion hole opposed to the step height portion. The vibration insulator includes an annular tolerance ring on an inner circumferential inclined face thereof with recessed tapered faces opposed to the tapered face of the step height portion and which abuts the tapered face. The taper angles of the tolerance ring and of the step height portion are set so as to be different.

  • Publication number: 20120091665
Abstract: A seal structure for sealing a penetrated portion through which a rotary shaft passes between a cover member and the rotary shaft. A seal member is fitted onto the rotary shaft in a manner that the rotary shaft can rotate relative to the seal member, and the elastic buffer member is provided for connection between the seal member and the cover member at the penetrated portion. The seal structure can keep sealing performance by reducing the influence of movements such as vibration and thermal expansion of the cover member and the influence of process tolerance of the cover member on the sealing performance of the seal member attached to the penetrated portion between the cover member and the rotary shaft penetrating the cover member.
