Abstract: The present invention relates to glass plate-interleaving paper, which is used for a glass plate for use in a display, and in which wood pulp is used as a raw material, and the number of foreign substances having a Mohs hardness of 4 or higher present on the surface of the glass plate-interleaving paper is fewer than 0.010 per square meter. Even if the glass plate-interleaving paper of the present invention is used in a conventional way as glass plate-interleaving paper with respect to a glass plate used as a substrate material for a flat panel display in which high cleanliness and high quality are required, the glass plate-interleaving paper is able to prevent damage or cracks occurring on the surface of the glass plate.
