  • Patent number: 9887341
Abstract: A method of production of core/shell type nanoparticles includes the following steps: a first step of applying a first power to cause the generation of the plasma so as to selectively cause the precipitation of a first metal so as to form nanoparticles as cores and a second step of applying a second power which is larger than the first power to cause the generation of the plasma so as to cause the precipitation of a second metal which has a smaller oxidation reduction potential than the first metal on the core surface so as to form shells which are comprised of the second metal which cover the cores which are comprised of the first metal.

  • Patent number: 8859152
Abstract: An air battery which is capable of detecting entering of water quickly. The air battery includes: a power section which includes an air electrode, an anode containing an alkali metal, and an electrolyte layer containing an electrolyte for conducting ion between the air electrode and the anode; and a housing configured to receive the power section, a pH-detecting means being provided inside the housing.

  • Patent number: 8236867
Abstract: An embodiment of the present invention includes a method for chemically modifying inner surfaces of channels capable of further regulating characteristics of the internal environment of channels, by forming a polymer complex having a specific channel group B, the channel environmental characteristics of which are regulated by substituents A, followed by utilizing the channels of the channel group B as a reaction field to convert the substituent A to a different substituent. The method may comprise including a guest molecule in the channel of the channel group B in which the substituents A are arranged; and reacting the guest molecule with the substituent A in the channel to convert the substituent A to a substituent A?, and to arrange the substituent A? regularly directing to the inside of the channel of the channel group B or any channel of other channel groups.

  • Publication number: 20100324249
Abstract: The present invention is to provide a method for chemically modifying the inner surfaces of channels capable of further regulating characteristics of the internal environment of channels, by forming a polymer complex having a specific channel group B, the channel environmental characteristics of which are regulated by a specific substituent A, followed by utilizing the channels of the channel group B as a reaction field to convert the substituent A to a different substituent, and also to provide a polymer complex having highly specific channel environmental characteristics obtained by the chemical modification method.
