  • Patent number: 10652813
Abstract: A slice management system (1) is a slice management system managing slices that are virtual networks generated on a network infrastructure, comprises a memory storing a priority list in which slices of connection destination candidates of a UE (2) are aligned in order of priority levels and, in a case in which a connection request for a slice from the UE (2) is acquired, determines a slice to which UE (2) is to be connected on the basis of the priority list stored in the memory.

  • Patent number: 10616854
Abstract: An SGW-C acquires correlation information in advance and retrieves an SGW-U corresponding to a tracking area of a movement destination of UE with reference to the correlation information. An MME issues a request for connection between the SGW-U retrieved by the SGW-C and an eNB. In this way, since the correlation information in which SGW-Us and tracking areas are correlated with each other is stored, it is possible to appropriately change a tracking area even in a situation in which a control plane and a user plane are separated.

  • Patent number: 10278102
Abstract: A correspondence information storage 32 acquires correspondence information in which an eNB 20, an SGW-C 60, and an SGW-U 70 are associated with each other in advance, and a connection controller 31 receives a handover request from the eNB 20 and identifies a target eNB 20 and a source eNB 20. A connection changer 33 identifies the SGW-C 60 and the SGW-U 70 associated with the target eNB 20 and identifies the SGW-C 60 and the SGW-U 70 associated with the source eNB 20, with reference to the correspondence information. The connection changer 33 determines whether or not the SGW-C 60 and the SGW-U 70 are to be changed on the basis of the identified result, and controls change requests for at least one of the SGW-C 60 and the SGW-U 70 on the basis of a result of the determination.

  • Publication number: 20190059036
Abstract: A slice management system is a system managing a slice that is a virtual network generated on a network infrastructure and includes a DNS storing slice information relating to a slice to which a UE can be connected for each area and determines whether or not the UE can, in a moving destination area that is a destination of movement of the UE between areas, be connected to a slice to which the UE was connected in a moving source area by referring to the DNS. In a case in which it is determined that the connection cannot be made, the slice management system generates the slice in the moving destination area such that the UE can be connected to the slice in the moving destination area.

  • Publication number: 20190045422
Abstract: In a communication system (1) according to this embodiment, an MME (30) selects an SGW-C (60) transmitting and receiving control signals using a control plane that is a route for transmitting the control signals for the communication service used by a UE (10), from among a plurality of gateways, on the basis of a required condition of the communication service used by the UE (10). In addition, the selected SGW-C (60) selects an SGW-U (70) transmitting and receiving user signals using a user plane that is a route for transmitting the user signals for the communication service, on the basis of the required condition of the communication service used by the UE (10).

  • Patent number: 10033652
Abstract: When congestion is detected in an S-GW, communications are allowed to continue as many as possible. A mobile communication method according to the present invention includes: notifying, by the S-GW, a PDF in a PCRF of detection of congestion when the congest is detected; acquiring, by the PDF in the PCRF, charging system information regarding UEs using an S1 bearer and an S5 bearer set in the S-GW from an HSS; acquiring, by the PDF in the PCRF, communication service class information in a flow unit in the S1 bearer and the S5 bearer from the P-GW according to the notification; and performing, by the PDF in the PCRF, bandwidth adjustment on specific flows of the S1 bearer and the S5 bearer based on the charging system information and the communication service class information in the flow unit.

  • Patent number: 9326180
Abstract: Even if a failure has occurred in core network equipment in a state in which bearers are established between a large number of UEs and a packet data network, congestion in the network is avoided. A mobile communication method according to the present invention includes steps of transmitting, by an MME, to transmit a “PDN Disconnection Request/Detach Request” including barring time to a UE when the MME disconnects a bearer between the UE and the packet data network due to a predetermined reason such as a failure in a S-GW/P-GW or the MME in a state in which the bearer is established, and barring, by the UE, a mobile originating call directed to the packet data network for the barring time.

  • Patent number: 9300588
Abstract: When congestion in an eNB is detected, effective utilization of resources is achieved by adjusting not only a data flow rate in an EPS-RAB but also a band of a core network bearer corresponding with the EPS-RAB. A mobile communication method according to an embodiment includes a step A of causing an eNB to notify an MME of a cause of congestion and identifier information of the EPS-RAB involved in the congestion, when the eNB detects the congestion.
