  • Patent number: 11215364
Abstract: A combustor includes: a first cylindrical body which is configured to hold a fuel nozzle extending in an axial line direction and through which air flows toward a downstream side thereof; a second cylindrical body that is connected to a downstream side of the first cylindrical body; and an outer shell that has an inner peripheral surface configured to define an air introduction channel through which air is introduced such that the air reverses course at an upstream end of the first cylindrical body and flows toward the downstream side together with an outer peripheral surface of the first cylindrical body. The inner peripheral surface has an outside narrowing surface that is formed to extend inward in a radial direction toward the upstream end of the first cylindrical body.

  • Patent number: 11209163
Abstract: A gas turbine combustor that mixes fuel with compressed air guided from a compressor to burn the fuel mixed with the compressed air to generate a combustion gas and supplies the generated combustion gas to a turbine is provided with: an inner cylinder forming a combustion chamber thereinside; an outer cylinder that covers the inner cylinder and forms, between the outer cylinder and the inner cylinder, a cylindrical outer peripheral flow path through which the compressed air flows; an end cover closing the end of the outer cylinder on an opposite side from a side the turbine is located; and a turn guide provided at the end on the end cover side of the inner cylinder, protruding from the outer peripheral surface of the inner cylinder toward the outer cylinder and smoothly connected to the inner peripheral surface of the inner cylinder.

  • Patent number: 10401031
Abstract: A combustor is capable of ignition and flame propagation at low fuel concentrations for gas or liquid fuel. Combustors are disposed annularly along an outer peripheral portion of a casing of a turbine. A combustion chamber burns fuel and air to generate a combustion gas. A diffusion burner is disposed upstream of the combustion chamber; and a plurality of premix burners are disposed around the diffusion burner. Cross fire tubes provide communication between combustion chambers of combustors adjacent to each other. A cross fire tube connected to a combustor adjacent to a first side in the circumferential direction of the casing is disposed so as to have a central axis passing over a premix burner as viewed from the combustion chamber and another cross fire tube connected to the combustor adjacent to a second side is disposed so as to have a central axis passing between two premix burners.

  • Publication number: 20160377290
Abstract: A gas turbine combustor has a burner with an inner casing and an outer casing, and an airflow path that supplies air between them. An opening introduces air from an outer circumferential side to an inner circumferential side of the inner casing of the combustor and an obstacle impedes the flow of the air upstream of the opening portion. The obstacle is formed by a perforated plate having an opening ratio representing a ratio of cross-sectional area of an opening portion of the holes formed in the obstacle to the sum of the cross-sectional area of the opening portion of the holes, and the cross-sectional area of the shielding portion that shields the flow of the air is low on an inner circumferential side of the obstacle and high on an outer circumferential side of the obstacle.
