Abstract: A construction machine is provided, in which an electric application instruction detection section detects an electric application instruction of starting an electric application to an electronic device requiring operation confirmation prior to a start of an engine, a timer section measures elapsed time from a start of the electric application to the device, a battery control section executes control of starting the electric application to the device in response to detection of the instruction, an engine control section executes control of starting the engine in a case where a start manipulation is received before the elapsed time exceeds a first reference time set in advance, and a control device executes control of suppressing power consumption of a battery, when at least one power consumption suppression condition set in advance is satisfied after the electric application to the device is started and before the engine is started.
