  • Patent number: 8860978
Abstract: An information processing apparatus that improves operability, productivity and flexibility in print setting when collectively executing print jobs. If a print instruction is input, a job list display unit determines whether the instruction is directed to a plurality of job data items. If the instruction is directed to a plurality of job data items, it is determined whether or not to allow the user to confirm output settings for each individual print job. If the user confirms the output settings, a user interface for making a change to the output settings associated with each individual print job is displayed. The displayed output settings are the output settings saved together with the job data item. If the user does not confirm the output settings, the user interface is not displayed, and output settings and the corresponding job data item are associated with each other, and they are transferred to a printer.

  • Patent number: 8244065
Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes a designation input unit configured to designate a storage area of a print job to be retrieved from among a plurality of types of storage areas that store print jobs, a retrieval condition input unit configured to input a retrieval condition, a retrieval unit configured to extract, from print jobs that are stored in the storage area designated by the designation input unit, a print job based on the retrieval condition input by the retrieval condition input unit, and a display control unit configured to cause a display unit to display the print job extracted by the retrieval unit as a retrieval result.

  • Publication number: 20080266601
Abstract: An information processing apparatus capable of storing a job transmitted to a printing apparatus includes an obtaining unit configured to obtain a job result regarding the job from the printing apparatus, an identifying unit configured to identify an output mode of the job, a reference unit configured to store a storage setting that defines whether to store or delete job data based on a combination of the job output mode and the job result and reference the storage setting, based on the output mode identified by the identifying unit and the job result obtained by the obtaining unit, and a storage control unit configured to store or delete the transmitted job based on the storage setting referenced by the reference unit.
