  • Publication number: 20090100621
Abstract: A brush material includes a resin brush bristle material that is composed of a bundle of plural resin brush bristles each containing a coarse-grained abrasive and having a circular or polygonal section, and a covering layer that contains a powdered abrasive and is provided on a surface of the resin brush bristle material.

  • Publication number: 20090100622
Abstract: A brush material includes a brush bristle material that is composed of a bundle of plural metal brush bristles each having a circular or polygonal section; and a covering layer that contains an abrasive and is provided on a surface of the brush bristle material.
    Type: Application
    Filed: October 18, 2007
    Publication date: April 23, 2009

  • Publication number: 20080005859
Abstract: A brush bristle material comprising a linear metallic material containing powders of one or more kinds of lava abrasive grains and/or basalt abrasive grains in a mixed state at a ratio in the range of 1% to 70%, preferably in the range of 1% to 30%. The powders of the lava abrasive grains and/or the basalt abrasive grains to be included in the linear metallic brush bristle material are incapable of being burnt and melted during the course of the inclusion and capable of enhancing the ability of grinding or abrading. Therefore, it is made possible to optimize the surface treatment of the interior of a hole in a given workpiece and the removal of a burr by grinding and a brush manufactured from the linear metallic brush bristle material.

  • Publication number: 20080005860
Abstract: A brush bristle material has at least one kind of diamond abrasive grains or abrading grains contained in a mixed state in a synthetic resin material formed of single threads. The synthetic resin material, while being formed into a linear material from chips, is caused to contain in a mixed state the abrasive grains and eventually manufactured into one brush. A plurality of at least one kind of brush bristles are bundled and consequently finished as a brush bristle material. The covering containing in a mixed state the abrasive grains encloses the bundle from the part excluding the part fixed by the tubular body through the distal end part. Though the brush bristle material has been at a disadvantage in revealing weak nerve due to a large bristle height, the covering has succeeded in canceling the disadvantage. This invention concerns a brush bristle material and a brush for a tubular brush or a segment brush having a large brush bristle height.

  • Publication number: 20080005861
Abstract: The brush bristle material of this invention has a synthetic resin material and a metallic material integrated into one or more pieces. The synthetic resin material and the metallic material mentioned above are made of nearly plate bar members and are integrated in the form of a plate or a bar or in any proper form by being mutually combined like a sandwich. The brush bristle material integrated by mutual combination of the component materials is enabled to combine the characteristic properties of the synthetic resin material and the metallic material and acquire proper hardness, elastic force and frictional force suited to a given workpiece, the shape of the workpiece and the purpose of use of the workpiece.
