  • Patent number: 7138263
Abstract: There is provided an endoglucanase enzyme, which is useful for reducing fuzz of regenerated cellulose-containing fabrics, improving the touch and appearance, color clarification, localized variation in color, reducing stiffness and using it as components of a detergent, as well as deinking waste paper and improving freeness of paper pulp. A cDNA coding for the endoglucanase enzyme NCE5 was cloned and its DNA sequence and amino acid sequence derived from it were determined.

  • Patent number: 6921655
Abstract: It is an object of the present invention to provide enzymes that have high endoglucanase activity and yet exhibit high activity even under alkaline conditions, and genes encoding the same. The enzyme according to the invention has the following properties: a) exhibiting endoglucanase activity; and b) capable of completely removing fuzz from regenerated cellulose fabrics at a concentration of 1 mg of the protein/L or below. The enzyme of the invention having endoglucanase activity is a protein comprising the amino acid sequence as shown in SEQ ID NO: 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 or 11; a modified protein thereof exhibiting endoglucanase activity; or a homologue of the protein or the modified protein.

  • Patent number: 5845125
Abstract: A debugger which helps a user perform object-based debugging. A class information generation section (8) generates class information based on the source code. The execution section (12) executes the program. The object information generation section (13) generates object information based on class information and execution information. The user sets a breakpoint in a desired object via the breakpoint setting section (16). A breakpoint may be set at a desired location in the object. The break processing section (18) detects a breakpoint and breaks the execution of the program. The reservation section (21) reserves a debug operation with the identifier of an object. When there is an object that can be referenced by the reserved identifier, the reservation execution section (22) executes the operation reserved for the object.

  • Patent number: 5438448
Abstract: The present invention discloses the construction and manufacturing method of a turning mirror which has a single face or multiple face reflector mirror for scanning laser light in a laser beam printer and the like. The disclosed construction and manufacturing method achieve a low-cost and high-accuracy turning mirror. Photo-setting resin is coated onto the surface of a base mount having a rotating shaft at its center. The surface of the base serves as a substrate for reflector mirror. A glass plate having a good flatness is placed into contact with the resin coating layer. Resin setting light is operated to irradiate the resin coating layer with the peripheral side fringe of the resin coating layer partially or entirely open in order to set the resin coating layer. The glass plate is then separated from the resin coating layer, allowing the flatness of the glass plate to be transferred to the resin coating layer. The turning mirror is then fabricated by attaching a metallic film onto the resin coating layer.
