  • Publication number: 20170269206
Abstract: A radar apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention includes an oversampler, a weight vector calculator, a meteorological parameter calculator, an error influence degree calculator, and an error reducer. The oversampler performs oversampling on a received signal to acquire a sampling signal. The weight vector calculator calculates a weight vector based on the sampling signal and a waveform information matrix. The meteorological parameter calculator calculates an estimated value of a meteorological parameter on an observation target based on the vector and the matrix. The error influence degree calculator selects a first observation target considering an estimated error included in the estimated value, or an error influence degree based on the estimated error. The error reducer subtracts an estimated error that the first observation target gives to an estimated value of a meteorological parameter on a second observation target, from the estimated value on the second observation target.

  • Publication number: 20170010354
Abstract: According to an embodiment, a weather radar apparatus includes the following elements. The feature quantity calculator calculates, based on the weather information for the targets in an observation range, a feature quantity of each of the targets. The allocator performs transmit allocation in pulse unit or pulse pair unit to the targets based on the feature quantity. The allocation halt instruction unit instructs the allocator to halt transmit allocation to a target satisfying a certain condition. The beam controller generates a control signal to control a beam direction and transmit timing based on a result of the transmit allocation. The transmit signal generator generates a transmit signal based on the control signal. The array antenna transmits the transmit signal.

  • Patent number: 5548706
Abstract: A Computer Aided Design (CAD) system with a dimension line editing function manages a drawing involving dimension lines and displays the drawing on a display unit connected to a terminal. The system edits the drawing according to a specified one of the dimension lines. The system has a setting unit for interactively setting an objective dimension line through the terminal; a retrieving unit for retrieving, in the drawing, dimension lines that are in parallel with the objective dimension line; and an editing unit for editing drawing data corresponding to the objective and parallel dimension lines according to a change quantity entered for the objective dimension line. The CAD system only asks a user to specify an objective dimension line to be edited as well as a change quantity applied to the dimension line.
