Abstract: A coil spring is interposed between a vehicle body and a suspension member which is elastically and swingably supported by the vehicle body and supports a wheel. The suspension member and a vehicle part attached to the vehicle body are connected by a fastening member. The orientation of the suspension member with respect to the vehicle body is forcibly changed so as to increase the distance between the vehicle body and the suspension member at a coil spring interposition portion. An excessive change in the orientation of the suspension member is restricted by the fastening member, and a coil spring is inserted between the vehicle body and the suspension member.

Abstract: A method for mounting a radiator module in the vicinity of the back side of a bumper reinforcement and assembling the radiator module to an automobile body while the bumper reinforcement is assembled to connect the front ends of the right and the left front side frames of the automobile body to each other. A jig base member is connected to an arm member of an outside conveyor, and the radiator module is positioned and held by a hand body a holding mechanism, the radiator module and the mounting jig are moved to a mounting position by the conveyor, and the jig base member is positioned to the bumper reinforcement by a positioning member. The bumper reinforcement is effectively utilized to position the jig base member. Then, the elevator, the hand body and the radiator module are moved downwardly to position a pair of right and left positioning members at right and left fender positions, respectively.

Abstract: The assembling apparatus is capable of assembling a radiator module to an automobile body efficiently with high precision while a bumper reinforcement of the automobile body is assembled to connect the front ends of the right and the left front side frames to each other. The assembling apparatus has a assembling jig, which is to be connected to an arm member of an air balancer equipment and has such as a jig base member, a cylinder for elevation, a guide rod, a hand body being elevated by way of an elevating body, a cylinder for rotating the hand body, a holding mechanism for positioning the radiator module on the hand body, a positioning pin for positioning the jig base member next to a bumper reinforcement of the automobile body, and a positioning pin of a projecting part of the hand body.
