  • Patent number: 10490172
Abstract: A musical sound playback method that is performed by a processor using data in a memory, including generating a plurality of interpolated data where input data for a segment corresponding to musical sounds has been interpolated, based on values in the input data which are related to both the segment corresponding to the musical sounds and a change amount of the musical sounds, generating a plurality of instruction data for providing instructions regarding musical sound states to be achieved at a plurality of timings in the segment, based on the plurality of interpolated data, and sequentially transmitting the plurality of instruction data to a sound source circuit so as to cause the sound source circuit to generate the musical sounds while sequentially changing the musical sounds to be in the musical sound states instructed by the instruction data, when a musical sound playback for the segment is performed.

  • Patent number: 10186242
Abstract: A musical performance device is provided by which, even by a novice user's operation, an attack sound, which is musically important, can be emitted as intended. In the device, sequence data representing each note of a musical piece for musical performance is provided for each track. When the sequence data of a certain segment of at least one track among these tracks is being replayed, if a target track to be replayed is specified from among the tracks not being replayed, the sequence data of the certain segment of the target track is replayed at a speed higher than a normal speed in accordance with a calculated playback rate, and then the target track and the other track are replayed at the normal speed.

  • Patent number: 8785759
Abstract: An electric keyboard musical instrument 10 includes: keys 32; third switches 36 that detect that the keys 32 are pressed down to a position x3; various switches 12 to 15 that receive a selection of a kind of tone; and a CPU 21 that executes generating a sound with a tone of the kind received by various switches 12 to 15 in response to the third switch 36 detecting that a key 32 is pressed down to a position x3. The CPU 21 changes a time from when the third switch 36 detects that a key 32 is pressed down to position x3 until sound generation is executed, according to a kind of tone received through the various switches 12 to 15.
