  • Patent number: 8599425
Abstract: An image processing apparatus includes a processing block, a first control block, and a second control block. The first control block issues a write request signal for inputting a first write pulse to a register of the processing block. The second control block issues a second write pulse cliffs differing from the first write pulse with timing independent of the first control block. The processing block includes the register, a write pulse generating circuit which generates the first write pulse according to the write request signal from the first control block, and a switching circuit which selects either the first write pulse or the second write pulse and inputs the selected pulse to the register.

  • Patent number: 7408139
Abstract: A video image capture device of the present invention includes: an optical system having distortion characteristics which enlarge the center portion and compress the peripheral portions; an image sensor which performs photoelectric conversion of a subject image focused by the optical system to output as original image data; a distortion correction circuit which corrects distortion in the original image data; an instruction portion which sets the size of an extraction angle of view for the original image data before correction of distortion; and a recording device which, taking the angle of view of the original image data to be a first angle of view, stores in succession image data corresponding to the first angle of view of the original image data and, as pairs, image data corresponding to a second angle of view narrower than the first angle of view set by the instruction portion.

  • Publication number: 20080122925
Abstract: An in vivo image pickup device that is inserted in the body cavity and generates and sends an image signal of a subject, and includes an image pickup unit that has a plurality of pixels with arrays on a light receiving surface thereof and converts a subject image formed on the light receiving surface into the image signal, a defect correcting circuit that corrects the image signal of a defective pixel of the image pickup unit, a compressing circuit that compresses the image signal from the defect correcting circuit, and a sending circuit that sends the compressed image signal. Before the compressing circuit compresses the image signal, the defective pixel is corrected, thereby preventing the danger of harmful affection to a normal pixel from the defective pixel.
