  • Patent number: 6279307
Abstract: The present invention introduces a yarn y that is unwound from a supply bobbin 1 into a control member 3 for controlling the propagation of twisting toward a supply bobbin, then introduces the yarn into a friction-disk-type false twister 4 to suppress fluff, and finally controls the yarn feeding speed in the friction-disk-type false twister in order to control the yarn tension. The present invention can reduce the amount of fluff on a yarn that is unwound from a supply bobbin and wound around a winding package and control the yarn tension. Therefore, the present invention eliminates the needs for a special device for controlling the tension.

  • Patent number: 5299750
Abstract: On an automatic winder, at the time of doffing, a signal is sent from a doffing device to a winding unit, a drum motor of the winding unit is driven at a low speed in response to said signal to rotate a package on a traverse drum, and a bobbin yarn is picked up. The automatic winder has a number of winding units juxtaposed, the doffing device is provided to freely travel along the winding units a paper tube supply system for delivering one or more kinds of paper tubes is installed at one end of the automatic winder, a conveyor for carrying paper tubes from the paper tube supply system is provided parallel with a travel path of the doffing device, and a paper tube holding device for receiving paper tubes carried by the conveyor is provided on the doffing device.

  • Patent number: 5269478
Abstract: A bobbin trace system in which a bar code for distinguishing a bobbin is affixed on a tray on which the bobbin to be fed from the spindle on the fine spinning frame to the winder is inserted upright, the bar code is read by a bar code reader and at the same time the yarn characteristic of the bobbin of the code is detected, the yarn characteristic thus detected is transferred to the controller which controls the operation of the winder, and the controller reads the code of the tray to be fed to the winder and feeds the bobbin characteristic corresponding to this code back to the winder, thereby controlling the operation of the winder on the basis of the bobbin characteristic thus fed back.

  • Patent number: 5029764
Abstract: A doffing control system for an automatic winder. An automatic doffing device is reciprocated along each spindle of the automatic winder to effect doffing. At least two zones are defined along the spindles of the automatic winder in which at least two kinds of packages may be formed. A marker is provided at the boundary between the zones. A detector for detecting the marker is provided on the automatic doffing device. The automatic doffing device can discriminate between the two zones, and can recognize the number of packages doffed in each zone. A set number of packages doffed in each zone can be delivered.
