  • Patent number: 8363496
Abstract: A semiconductor memory device includes a mask information storage circuit that stores therein mask information indicating an area for which the self refresh operation is not performed among a plurality of areas in a memory cell array, a mask determining circuit that is activated by a self refresh command and generates a match signal in response to a detection of a match between a refresh address and the mask information, and a refresh operation control circuit that disables the self refresh operation in response to an activation of the match signal. When a test mode signal is activated, the mask determining circuit is also activated by the auto refresh command. With this configuration, it is possible to perform a test of a partial array self refresh function without actually entering a self refresh mode.

  • Publication number: 20110229237
Abstract: A printing apparatus includes an input unit, a holding unit, a printing unit, sheet stacking units, a storage unit, a sheet feeding unit, a detection unit, a determination unit, a request unit, a receiving unit, and a control unit. The sheet feeding unit feeds a sheet to be used by the printing unit when executing a specific print job, from a specific sheet stacking unit stored in the storage unit in association with attribute information included in the specific print job. When the determination unit determines that a remaining number of sheets stacked in the specific sheet stacking unit will run short by finishing the specific print job, the requesting unit requests an operator's instruction for changing sheet attribute information included in the specific print job. The control unit changes the sheet attribute information per the operator's instruction.

  • Patent number: 7783136
Abstract: An image data search system capable of easily and surely detecting when, where, and how image data has been processed in an image forming apparatus capable of setting various output forms. A storage server stores image data involved in each job executed by a copying machine. A history management server records information including at least information indicating an output form of image data in the job as history information. A search server searches for image data matching desired image data from the image data stored in the storage server, and detects history information corresponding to the image data stored in the storage server, from the history information recorded in the history management server. Further the search server changes a search method based on the information indicating the output form, which is recorded in the detected history information.
