  • Publication number: 20110306888
Abstract: When a start timing of an individual measurement control arrives, the pressurization control is started and a maximum blood pressure (blood pressure characteristic value) is estimated based on blood pressure characteristics information obtained during the pressurization control. The presence or absence of blood pressure fluctuation is determined based on the maximum blood pressure estimated this time and the (estimated) maximum blood pressure up to the previous times. The actual measurement process of the blood pressure is executed when determined that the blood pressure fluctuation is present. The actual measurement process is canceled when determined that the blood pressure fluctuation is absent.

  • Publication number: 20110144918
Abstract: A biological information display device displays measurement results for a plurality of times, for example, as result information on first measurement results for a plurality of times (S202). When receiving from a user specification of data to be eliminated out of the first measurement results, a second measurement result to use in calculation of a statistical value is specified based on an instruction from the user (S204, S206). Then, the statistical value on the specified second measurement result is calculated (S208), and the calculated statistical value is displayed (S210).

  • Patent number: 7611468
Abstract: In wrapping a blood pressure measurement cuff enclosing therein a bladder, which is inflated when supplied with air, around a region for measurement, first, a predetermined amount of air is supplied to the bladder and then enclosed therein. Then, the blood pressure measurement cuff is wrapped around the region for measurement of a subject for the purpose of measuring his/her blood pressure. During this wrapping process, relative variations in the pressure in the bladder are sequentially detected. The time period in which the detection results indicate that the variation has not reached a predetermined threshold value, the wrapping proceeds. When the detection results indicate that the variation has reached the predetermined threshold value, the wrapping is terminated.

  • Publication number: 20090043605
Abstract: When the present time of a clock circuit is a medication time recorded in advance in a SD card, a notice that the medication time has come is given by a voice output portion or the like. Presence/absence of a medicine package in each block of a medicine package case is sensed by a medicine package sensor. The time point and the presence/absence of the medicine package are recorded in the SD card. A notice corresponding to the presence/absence is output. At a time except for the medication time, taking-out of the case, opening/closing of the cover, taking-out and return of the medicine package are recorded in the SD card based on detection signals from the medicine package sensor, medicine package case sensor, and case cover opening/closing sensor.

  • Patent number: 7182732
Abstract: Provide is a blood pressure meter cuff capable of avoiding an influence of an edge effect by pressurizing only a portion of a blood vessel in the downward vicinity of the body surface to thereby measure a correct blood pressure. A blood pressure meter cuff 1 includes: a fluid bag into which a fluid is injected; and a fixing tool fixing the fluid bag on a limb of a human body or the like, wherein a width in the axial direction of the limb, of the fluid bag is a value suitable for selectively pressurizing only a portion of a blood vessel present in the downward vicinity of the skin. In a case where pressurization is imposed on only a portion of the radial artery present in the downward vicinity of the body surface and adjacent to a radial styloid process of a wrist, a width, in the axial direction of a limb, of the fluid bag is set to 15 mm or more and 25 mm or less.

  • Patent number: 7118535
Abstract: Prior to blood pressure calculations, air is enclosed in a blood pressure measurement bladder to be wound and mounted around the region for measurement, in advance. By referring to the variation in the pressure therein, the circumferential length of the region for measurement is detected based on the variation in the pressure therein during the winding correction determination process for the region for measurement. Then, the process enters blood pressure measurement, and the blood pressure measurement bladder is pressurized or depressurized. The pressure in the blood pressure measurement bladder is detected. A blood pressure based on the detected pressure is calculated according to the circumferential length of the region for measurement which has been detected in advance.
