  • Patent number: 7544878
Abstract: In an electronic keyboard instrument (1) being an example of a musical performance apparatus having a musical operation unit, a unique musical performance apparatus is formed by an outer face of its exterior (2), and part or a whole of the outer face of the exterior (2) is formed as a temperature sensitive discolorable layer, for example, as shown by the hatched outer faces of upper side panels (22), lower side panels (23), and a back panel (25), so that at least part of the exterior (2) changes in color according to a change in environmental temperature or a temperature change caused by radiant heat by illumination of lights (34). In order to forcibly discolor the temperature sensitive discolorable layer of the exterior (2), it is preferable that heaters or Peltier modules are incorporated in the exterior (2) and electricity is supplied thereto for enabling heating, or heating and cooling.

  • Patent number: 7485794
Abstract: An RF tag having stored therein equipment setting information related to a performance, by an electronic musical instrument, of a given music piece is attached to a music-piece-related information having music-piece-related information of the given music piece presented thereon. Electronic musical instrument includes an information acquisition information that communicates with the RF tag to acquire the equipment setting information from the tag, and an automatic setting section that automatically sets various settings and states of the musical instrument in accordance with the acquired equipment setting information. The musical instrument may further include a trigger section that triggers the acquisition section to acquire the equipment setting information from the RF tag. When the acquisition section has acquired new equipment setting information in response to triggering by the trigger section, states of the electronic musical instrument are set in accordance with the new equipment setting information.

  • Publication number: 20090023806
Abstract: A safe and easy-handling method to eliminate aluminum, which can easily accumulate in a dialysis patient body, in the course of a dialysis treatment and a dialysate used in the above method to eliminate aluminum ions from blood and tissues in the body are provided. A method to eliminate aluminum from a dialysis patient body characterized in that a dialysate mixed with aluminum complexing agents allows formation of complexes with aluminum to excrete aluminum in the form of aluminum complexes into the dialysis drain fluid is also provided. More specifically, the above-mentioned method to eliminate aluminum from the body employs preferably citric acid as an aluminum complexing agent, and the dialysate comprises general dialysate components and 1.7-2.4 mEq/L of citric acid as an aluminum complexing agent.
