  • Publication number: 20070201424
Abstract: A reception part receives RLC-PDU from an RLC processing part to extract information to be used for determining whether security is required. This information is sent to a security management part, which determines whether security is required. Data outputted from the reception part is stored into a data buffer via a data management part. The data, which is regarded by the security management part as requiring security, is read by the data management part from the data buffer, then encrypted by a security calculation part, and then stored back into the data buffer again. Concealed or non-concealed data is read from the data buffer and sent to an FP processing part via a transmission part.

  • Publication number: 20050268174
Abstract: The semiconductor device comprises a memory for storing access data of a central processing unit, a security circuit for restricting access to the memory from one of the central processing unit and a debugger having an emulation function of the central processing unit and for accessing the memory as a substitute of the central processing unit, and a debug-enable signal input terminal. When the debug-enable signal is inactive, an access signal from the debugger to the semiconductor device is invalidated, and the security circuit enables the central processing unit to access the memory. When the debug-enable signal is active, the access signal becomes valid, and the security circuit disables access to the memory. After then, when a password for access is input from the debugger, the security circuit enables the debugger to access the memory.

  • Publication number: 20050141477
Abstract: A packet transferring/transmitting method is provided for use in a mobile communication system 50. In this packet transferring/transmitting method, an upper node 1 determines the implementation of handover (determination step), and a handover addressing node 2 transfers, of a plurality of packets, a non-transmitted residual packet to a handover addressed node 3, and the upper node 1 transmits a new packet to the handover addressed node 3 (transfer/transmission step). This enables maintaining the number of users to be accommodated while securing a wide bandwidth, sharing a line with high efficiency at soft handover, avoiding data residual in the case of the employment of variable communication rate, and preventing an increase in retransmission.

  • Publication number: 20050122950
Abstract: A mobile communication system includes a radio network control apparatus having inside a function block for processing a downlink shared channel and table means for storing various setting information related to the downlink shared channel communication and the downlink shared channel multi-cast communication. According to the information, a multi-cast communication (including uni-cast communication) is realized by using the downlink shared channel for one or more mobile apparatuses. Moreover, a base station has a function to transmit the downlink shared channel data and signaling data received from a radio network control apparatus, to a mobile apparatus via a radio line. Furthermore, it is possible to multi-cast data selectively to a particular mobile apparatus being call-connected.

  • Publication number: 20030214910
Abstract: A mobile communication system includes a mobile communication network connected to a core network (CN) and a plurality of radio network nodes included in the mobile communication network (RAN). Network resources for a data flow between a data transmission node and a data reception node that passes through the CN and RAN are reserved on the basis of RSVP. A region for refreshing a reservation state of network resources concerning the flow is divided into a CN side and an RAN side by taking a predetermined radio network node through which the flow passes as a boundary. Refreshment on the RAN side is conducted with a frequency higher than that of refreshment on the CN side.
