  • Publication number: 20160179562
Abstract: The resource control apparatus according to an embodiment described herein includes an allocating time acquisitor, a usage amount meter, an allocation amount calculator, and an allocation amount setter. The allocating time acquisitor acquires an allocating time at which the VMM allocates a resource allocation amount to a VM. The usage amount meter measures a resource usage amount of the VMM at the allocating time. The allocation amount calculator calculates an allocation amount based on a usage amount. The allocation amount setter sets an allocation amount to a VMM at a setting time which is a predetermined time before an allocating time.

  • Publication number: 20160124765
Abstract: A dynamic resource allocation apparatus according to an embodiment includes a usage amount calculator, a spike detector, an allocation amount calculator, and an allocation amount setter. The usage amount calculator calculates a fixed usage amount which is a resource usage amount actually used for each time slot as a division of a resource fluctuation period of a virtual machine. The spike detector detects a spike of the fixed usage amount. The allocation amount calculator calculates a resource allocation amount to be allocated to the i-th time slot based on the past fixed usage amount in the i-th time slot and a detection result of a past spike in a time slot included in a predetermined range before and after the i-th time slot. The allocation amount setter sets an allocation amount to a virtual machine monitor which controls a virtual machine.

  • Publication number: 20160065435
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a communication device includes a clock to measure time, communication circuitry and processing circuitry. The communication circuitry transmits a request signal to the other communication device in a certain cycle, and receives a response signal transmitted in response to the request signal, from the other communication device. The processing circuitry changes a transmission timing of the request signal; compares first round-trip delay time with second round-trip delay time; and if a result of comparison shows that the second round-trip delay time is shorter than the first round-trip delay time, adjusts the time measured by the clock using a transmission time point of the second request signal and the reception time point of the second request signal in the other communication device, and the transmission time point of the second response signal from the other communication device and a reception time point of the second response signal.

  • Publication number: 20160056925
Abstract: An information processing apparatus comprises a first circuitry and a second circuitry. The first circuitry first/second demand response requests from first/second communication devices. The second circuitry creates first request content information representing contents of the first demand response request, sends it to a time-stamping authority, and acquires first time certification information containing a time stamp that the time-stamping authority issues for the first demand response request. The second circuitry stores the first time certification information in a storage device to be associates with the first demand response request; and determine, when the second demand response request is received, whether the second demand response request is retransmission of the first demand response request.

  • Patent number: 8452892
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a scheduling apparatus sends queries to communication modules in buildings and receives facility information measured at monitor-control points from the communication modules. As for each communication module, a network address, a waiting time to receive the facility information after sending a query, and a connection with the monitor-control points, are stored. When a service request indicating at least one monitor-control point is received, queries each including the network address of a communication module connected with a monitor-control point indicated by the service request, are generated. A priority of each query is decided based on the waiting time corresponding to the communication module. Each query is added to a first send queue or a second send queue based on the priority. When queries are sent, a timing to send from the first send queue is same as or earlier than a timing to send from the second send queue.

  • Publication number: 20130080356
Abstract: According to one embodiment, an environment provider storage stores a plurality of account methods corresponding to environment providers providing service execution environments. Each account method is a method for calculating a usage fee for each service execution environment. A resource consumption storage stores a plurality of resource consumptions corresponding to run modes. Each run mode is an operation pattern for each service execution environment to execute the service. Each resource consumption is a consumption of resources of the service execution environment while executing the service in each run mode. A calculation unit calculates usage fees based on combinations of one of the account methods corresponding to the environment providers and one of the resource consumptions corresponding to the run modes. An integrated operation unit selects at least one combination of a selected environment provider and a selected run mode, based on the usage fees calculated by the calculation unit.

  • Publication number: 20130080401
Abstract: According to one embodiment, an information collection apparatus includes an information collector, a database, a shift width estimator, and a collection controller. The collector collects time-series data from a start time with a period of collection. The database accumulates the time-series data. The shift width estimator detects a loss of data in the time-series data and estimates a shift width corresponding to a difference between a time the loss has occurred and a collection time of data of an outlier. The collection controller obtains a correction value of the start time and a correction value of the collection period to eliminate the shift width, and controls the collection of the time-series data.
