Patent number: 9293293Abstract: The objective of the present application is to suppress the occurrence of flares and to reduce the amount of secondary electrons arising at an aperture provided to the lead-out electrode of an electron gun. By coating a thin film having a low rate of secondary electron emission such as carbon onto the aperture of a lead-out electrode closest to an electron source in an electron gun, it is possible to reduce the amount of secondary electrons arising. Secondary electrons arising at the lead-out electrode, are reduced, and so as a result, flare is reduced. By incorporating two apertures to the lead-out electrode, and applying to the two apertures a potential that is equipotential to the lead-out electrode, it is possible to eliminate an electric field from seeping from under to over the lead-out electrode. Secondary electrons arising when an electron beam impacts the lead-out electrode cease to incur force in the direction of passage from the lead-out electrode, and consequently there is a reduction in flares.Type: GrantFiled: May 22, 2012Date of Patent: March 22, 2016Assignee: HITACHI HIGH-TECHNOLOGIES CORPORATIONInventors: Shun-ichi Watanabe, Takashi Onishi, Yoichi Ose, Kuniyasu Nakamura, Masaru Moriyama, Tomonori Suzuki

Patent number: 9169746Abstract: A main angle-limiting mechanism mechanically limits a relative movement between a vane rotor and a housing within a main angular range. When a rotational phase difference between the vane rotor and the housing becomes out of the main angular range, for example, due to a breakage of the main angle-limiting mechanism, an electronic control unit sets a target value for the rotational phase difference. The target value is set at such a value within a restricted angular range, which is smaller than the main angular range.Type: GrantFiled: October 25, 2013Date of Patent: October 27, 2015Assignee: DENSO CORPORATIONInventors: Masashi Hayashi, Tomonori Suzuki

Patent number: 9045077Abstract: A vehicle approach warning apparatus for abnormality detection in various abnormal modes is provided. In the vehicle approach warning apparatus, a sound generator output from the microcomputer passes an AMP and HPF, and an output voltage corresponding to the sound generator output is applied to a speaker to emit vehicle approach sound. The vehicle approach warning apparatus includes a voltage sensor circuit and outputs a check usage output as the sound generator output at the abnormality detection. A single frequency output that is within a resonance frequency band of the speaker and that can be poorly reproduced by the speaker is used as the check usage output. The abnormality detection is performed based on whether an integration circuit voltage outputted from the voltage sensor circuit is within a voltage range being an abnormality determination threshold.Type: GrantFiled: July 4, 2012Date of Patent: June 2, 2015Assignees: ANDEN CO., LTD., TOYOTA JIDOSHA KABUSHIKI KAISHAInventors: Haruyuki Tsuzuki, Chikara Yamamoto, Tomonori Suzuki
