  • Patent number: 3954587
Abstract: Electrodeposition coating method of photocuring composition to form excellent and uniform coating films on the surfaces of electroconductive articles, which comprises the steps of: immersing said electroconductive article into an electrodeposition coating bath which contains, as the principal components, water soluble or water dispersible film forming polymerizable unsaturated resin, water insoluble photopolymerization initiator, and a polyfunctional unsaturated compound insoluble in water; forming electrodeposition coating film on the surface of the article by supplying electric current to the article as an anode; and irradiating actinic rays to the coating film on the article to cause the curing of the coating film by photopolymerization.
