  • Patent number: 8278249
Abstract: Disclosed is a composition for forming a thick oxide superconductor film, the oxide being an RE-BA—Cu based oxide, wherein RE is at least one element selected from the group consisting of Y, Nd, Sm, Gd, Eu, Yb, Pr, and Ho. The composition contains an RE salt of a keto acid having 4 to 8 carbon atoms as an RE component, barium trifluoroacetate as a Ba component, at least one copper salt selected from the group consisting of a copper salt of a branched saturated aliphatic carboxylic acid having 6 to 16 carbon atoms and a copper salt of an alicyclic carboxylic acid having 6 to 16 carbon atoms as a Cu component, and an organic solvent dissolving these metal salt components. In the composition, the RE to Ba to Cu molar ratio is 1:1.3 to 2.2:2.4 to 3.6 and the content of the organic solvent is 25% to 80% by weight.

  • Patent number: 6402491
Abstract: A curing machine for pneumatic tires includes a bladder which is tightly held by upper and lower bladder rings, a vertically movable center post for holding the upper bladder ring, and an outer cylinder arranged on a radially outer side of the center post, for supplying a pressurized heat medium into the interior of a green tire. An upper lock mechanism is associated with the top end portion of the center post and serves to automatically lock the upper bladder ring in place by after the top end portion of the center post has been moved upwards and passed through a center through hole in the upper bladder ring. A lower lock mechanism serves to automatically lock and unlock the lower bladder ring, in which a lock region extending downwards from the lower bladder ring is engaged with, and disengaged from a first lock member secured to the outer cylinder by vertically moving a second lock member in opposite directions.

  • Patent number: 6292993
Abstract: A vulcanizing machine for producing pneumatic tires includes an exchangeable segmented mold comprised of tread mold pieces for defining the outer contour of a tire tread portion, and upper and lower side mold members engaged with the tread mold pieces, for defining the outer contours of the sidewall portions. The tread mold pieces are detachably connected to connector segments which are slidably engaged with a container ring so that vertical movement of the container ring causes radial movement of the connector segments relative to the tread mold pieces. After production of tires of a predetermined size has been completed, the mold is removed from the machine by moving the container ring upwards to disconnect the connector segments from the tread mold pieces, and disconnecting the upper side mold member from a top plate of the machine.
