    Abstract: A side airbag is inflated and deployed in a space between a side wall portion of a vehicle body and an occupant seated on a seat disposed inside the vehicle body. The side airbag has a bag outer edge portion at a tip end side of an inflating direction having a concave. The concave is formed such that an interference of the bag outer edge portion with an elbow portion of the occupant is reduced in inflation and deployment.
