    Abstract: A device for stabilizing an output of a photosensor which uses a light-emitting element and a light-receiving element is disclosed. A resistor is connected in series with the light-emitting element to control a voltage across the series connection of the light-emitting element and resistor to a constant value. The output of the light-receiving element is stabilized against temperature variations without resorting to an extra light-receiving element for compensation.
