Abstract: A system analysis device for analyzing a state of operation of a computer system includes an analysis processing section, an analysis program storage section, a diagnostic processing section and a condition definition information storage section. The analysis processing section analyzes analysis subject data outputted from the analysis subject computer system. The analysis program storage section stores plural analysis programs, which perform analysis processing on the analysis subject data. The diagnostic processing section diagnoses a state of operation of the computer system from analysis results. The condition definition information storage section stores condition definition information, which defines conditions to be determination standards of the diagnostic processing. The analysis programs and the condition definition information are updated respectively separately from one another.

Abstract: The present invention provides a computer maintenance support system which, in addition to simple analysis results, provides more detailed analysis results. The system provides information for supporting computer maintenance operations, and includes an analysis device, an analysis server and an output device for monitoring. The analysis device collects and analyzes analysis object data which has been saved at a maintenance object computer. The analysis object data includes settings information of the computer and log information which has recorded operations of the computer. The analysis server is connected with one or more analysis devices, acquires the analysis object data from an analysis device, and analyzes the analysis object data. The output device for monitoring receives a primary analysis report, from analysis by the analysis device, and a secondary analysis report, from analysis by the analysis server, and outputs information to be used for the computer maintenance operations.

Abstract: A novel and improved parameter sheet generating device and computer program, which can automatically generate a parameter sheet from system configuration information of a computer system, are provided. The parameter sheet generating device includes: a receiving section that receives system configuration information, which structures the operating system managing the computer system, and in which the parameters for operating the operating system are described; an analyzing section analyzing contents of the received system configuration information, and acquiring the parameters described in the system configuration information; and a generating section recording the parameters acquired at the analyzing section in the parameter sheet, and generating the parameter sheet.
