  • Patent number: 11816803
Abstract: A guidance display system includes an AR display device and a server. The AR display device includes a display unit and a display control unit configured to display, on the display unit, an augmented reality image in which an image of a virtual object for guidance is superimposed on scenery of a real world. The server is wirelessly connected to the display device. The server includes a theme park-specific character storage unit, a 3D model extraction unit, and a transmission unit. The theme park-specific character storage unit stores character information set for a theme park. The 3D model extraction unit extracts the character of the theme park set as the destination, as a virtual object for guidance. The transmission unit transmits the image data of the extracted virtual object for guidance to the display control unit of the AR display device.

  • Patent number: 11645822
Abstract: When a theme park that is a facility configured based on a specific theme is set as a departure point, an AR display device transmits information of the theme park of the departure point to a server. The server includes a theme park-specific character storage unit and a transmission unit. The theme park-specific character storage unit stores information on a character set for the theme park of the departure point. The transmission unit transmits, to the AR display device, image data of the character set for the theme park of the departure point, with the character being set as a virtual object of the departure point.

  • Publication number: 20220198760
Abstract: A display system includes a display device and a remote terminal device. The display device includes an image shooting device, an image recognizer, and a display controller. The image recognizer recognizes real objects in an image shot by the image shooting device, and recognizes positions of the recognized real objects on space coordinates. The display controller superimposes a virtual object at a designated position on the space coordinates in the shot image. The image recognizer recognizes a gesture of the real object at the designated position of the virtual object in the shot image. The display controller executes image processing on the virtual object in response to the recognized gesture.

  • Publication number: 20220198763

  • Publication number: 20220198744
Abstract: A display device includes an image recognition unit, a display control unit, a display unit, and a position information acquisition unit. The image recognition unit recognizes a person image from an image captured at a remote location. The display control unit is configured to superimpose a decoration image on the person image and generate an augmented reality image in which the person image that has been decorated is superimposed on scenery of a real world. The position information acquisition unit acquires a position of the position information acquisition unit. The server includes a decoration image storage unit and a decoration image extraction unit. In the decoration image storage unit, a plurality of kinds of the decoration images is stored. The decoration image extraction unit extracts, from the decoration image storage unit, the decoration image based on the position, as the decoration image to be superimposed on the person image.
