  • Patent number: 11917236
Abstract: Information processing with flexibility in interpretation of a standard is disclosed. In one example, an output unit adds additional information related to the BB packet to output the BB packet to a baseband (BB) packet after an error correction decoding process. The additional information includes at least one of a delimiter, a precision time protocol (PTP), or BB packet information. The BB packet information includes at least one of information indicating whether or not reception of the BB packet is stable, information indicating whether or not there is an error in the BB packet, a packet length of the BB packet, a relative physical layer pipe (PLP) ID of the BB packet, or an absolute PLPID of the BB packet.

  • Patent number: 11483600
Abstract: Disclosed is a transmitter that includes a demodulation circuit and a transmitting-side back-end processing circuit. When a TLV packet superimposed on a broadcast wave and transmitted with a variable data length is to be converted to split TLV packets with a fixed data length, the demodulation circuit sets a speed for switching between L and H levels of a clock signal in such a manner that the speed for first data including a packet header to be embedded in a header section of the split TLV packets is twice the speed for data subsequent to the first data. The transmitting-side back-end processing circuit QAM-modulates a signal demodulated by the demodulation circuit for cable broadcasting purposes.

  • Patent number: 10389393
Abstract: The present technology relates to a reception device, a receiving method, and a program capable of improving a reception state. A delay wave by multipath is estimated on the basis of sensor information detected by a sensor unit, a replica of the delay wave is generated by a sum of products of a coefficient for each delay wave and a signal of a reception wave according to delay time on the basis of the estimated delay wave by the multipath, and the generated replica of the delay wave is subtracted from the signal of the reception wave, thereby removing the delay wave from the signal of the reception wave. The present technology may be applied to a receiver which receives a broadcast wave.
