  • Patent number: 12123108
Abstract: The present invention addresses the problem of improving friction characteristics, when wet, of fibers to which a treatment agent for short fibers is adhered, and improving the heat resistance of the treatment agent for short fibers. This treatment agent for short fibers does not substantially include a phosphate compound, but does contain the fatty acid (A) below and a non-ionic surfactant. The fatty acid (A) is at least one fatty acid selected from C1-6 fatty acids, C1-6 hydroxy fatty acids, and salts of the aforementioned fatty acids.

  • Publication number: 20240328074
Abstract: Disclosed is a first agent-containing composition for treating synthetic fiber that is combined in use with a second agent for treating synthetic fiber containing a specific nonionic surfactant. The first agent-containing composition contains a first agent for treating synthetic fiber and a solvent. The first agent contains specific organic phosphoric acid ester salts at specific ratios and has a specific acid value. The solvent has a boiling point at atmospheric pressure of not more than 105° C. Assuming that the sum of the amounts of the first agent and the solvent contained in the first agent-containing composition is 100 parts by mass, the amount of the first agent contained in the first agent-containing composition is not less than 35 parts by mass and not more than 55 parts by mass.

  • Publication number: 20230366143
Abstract: The present invention addresses the problem of providing a synthetic fiber first processing agent which improves storage stability. This synthetic fiber first processing agent contains a phosphate compound (A), a solvent (S) and an optional non-ionic surfactant (C), said agent being characterized in that the content ratio of the phosphate compound (A) to the non-ionic surfactant (C) is within a prescribed range, and by being used in conjunction with a synthetic fiber second processing agent which contains a non-ionic surfactant (E). The phosphate compound (A) contains a prescribed organic phosphate ester compound, and the proton NMR integration ratio attributable to an inorganic phosphate compound during proton NMR measurement when performing an alkali over-neutralization preprocessing is set to a prescribed range. The solvent (S) has a boiling point no higher than 105° C. at atmospheric pressure. The non-ionic surfactant (C) has a (poly)oxyalkylene structure in the molecule thereof.
