  • Publication number: 20120039552
Abstract: A sintered metal bearing includes: a sintered-metal bearing body formed of a metal different from a metal of a shaft and including a large number of inner pores; and a resin film formed on predetermined parts of a surface of the sintered-metal bearing body and forming a sliding surface. The resin film is formed so that surface openings communicating to the inner pores are kept opened, and resin-film parts adhere to a surface of the shaft. Further, a shaft member used for a sliding bearing unit is incorporated in a sintered-metal sliding bearing including copper mainly or copper and iron, the shaft member including a sliding surface. The shaft member includes: a metal shaft body; and a resin film formed on predetermined parts of a surface of the metal shaft body and forming the sliding surface. The resin film is made of a resin excellent in adhering properties.

  • Publication number: 20110226403
Abstract: A laminated ceramic electronic component includes a ceramic element and two external electrodes on both end surfaces of the ceramic element. The ceramic element includes a function part and lead parts thinner than the function part. Internal electrode layers are provided facing each other via a ceramic layer therebetween in the function part. The internal electrode layers are drawn out of the function part in the lead part. The external electrode includes an extended part and a curled part. The extended part is formed from the lead part through the function part on the main face. On the main face, the part of the extended part in the lead part is lower than the part of the function part. The curled part is formed from the end face of the ceramic element through the surface of the part of the extended part in the lead part on the main face.

  • Patent number: 7988365
Abstract: A cage used in a ball bearing assembly is rendered to be of a ring shape having a plurality of pockets defined therein to hold a corresponding number of balls in a circumferential row. The radius of a bore of a circumferentially extending body of the cage as measured from the geometric center of the bore to an inner peripheral surface area of the circumferentially extending body aligned with each of the pockets is chosen to be greater than the radius as measured from the geometric center of the bore to a different inner peripheral surface area of the circumferentially extending body intermediate between the neighboring pockets.

  • Publication number: 20100098366
Abstract: A cage (5) for a ball bearing assembly has a pocket (11) for accommodating one of balls defined at a plurality of locations in a direction circumferentially thereof and each of the pockets has an inner surface so shaped as to represent a concaved spherical surface. A concaved portion (13) extending from an open edge on the cage inner diametric side towards the cage outer diametric side is provided in an inner surface of each of the pockets (11). The sectional shape of the inner surface of this concaved portion (13) in a cage circumferential direction is represented by an arcuate shape of a radius of curvature (Rb) smaller than the radius of curvature (Ra) of the concaved spherical surface defining the inner surface of the respective pocket (11). The inner surface of each of the pockets (11) may be formed with a film.

  • Publication number: 20090324410
Abstract: A tapered roller bearing (31a) has a plurality of retainer segments (11a, 11d) each having a pocket to house a tapered roller (34a), and arranged so as to be continuously lined with each other in a circumferential direction between an outer ring (32a) and an inner ring (33a). The retainer segment (11a, 11d) is formed of a resin containing a filler material to lower a thermal linear expansion coefficient. In addition, a clearance (39a) is provided between the first retainer segment (11a) and the last retainer segment (11d) after the plurality of retainer segments (11a, 11d) have been arranged in the circumferential direction without providing any clearance. Here a circumferential range (R) of the clearance (39a) is larger than 0.075% of a circumference of a circle passing through a center of the retainer segment (11a, 11d) and smaller than 0.12% thereof at room temperature.
